Their evidence for dangerous, human-caused global warming, always slim, now lies exposed in tatters for all to see. In contrast, the alternative, persuasive and non-alarmist view of climate change is well summarized in two recently issued and readily available documents.

The evidence for dangerous global warming adduced by the IPCC has never been strong on empirical science. Endless circumstantial scare campaigns have been run about melting glaciers, more droughts and storms and floods, sea-level rise and polar bears, but all founder on one inescapable problem – as does Mr. Al Gore’s over-hyped science fiction film. And that is that we live on a naturally variable planet. [...]
Stuck with the absence of empirical evidence for dangerous warming or abnormal change, in 2001 the IPCC turned to graphmanship, giving prominence in its 3AR to the so-called “hockey-stick” record of temperature over the last 1000 years. The hockey-stick graphic, which appeared to show dramatic increases of temperature during the 20th century compared with earlier times, has now been exposed as statistical chicanery and, thankfully, is nowhere to be seen in the 4AR.
No hockey-stick and no empirical evidence, what is a man to do? Well, obviously, turn to virtual reality rather than real reality: PlayStation 4 here we come.

In fact, the global median temp had DROPPED over half a degree in the past year. Never fear! The UN climate panel will soon trot out another elegant theory to reconcile this latest setback to their last half dozen theories. It will go something like “Mankind made the climate warm 100 years ago, which caused it to backlash into a mini Ice Age in self defense, but it won’t be a REAL Ice Age, it’ll be a MAN MADE Ice Age because the seas will still rice, the crime rate will still go up and instead of drowning, all the polar bears will now be killed by becoming entrapped in the arctic ice.”

In other words, the activists created the 'global warming' scenario in order to enact legislation around the world that comports to their socialist worldview. It doesn't matter what the reality is, they want their 'virtual reality' to take precedence so they can be the ones making the decisions, and making money from the trading of 'carbon credits', which are essential in their 'virtual reality'.
Everbody can now see that tghey are at best, all full of sh*t. But more likely all wanting to line their pockets with lifetimes worth of grants and funding to study on when the sky is going to fall...*next* year.

I’ve been caused to laugh many times over the last decade or more, as the Hollywierd industry tried to foist one ‘beauty’ after another off on the American public, as if they were truly an attractive woman. Diaz looked cute in the original ‘Mask’ movie. Since then she has looked like a duck out of water.
As for Uma Therman, yuck with a capital “Y”!
I’m not saying every actress has to be a stone cold fox, but don’t sell them as one if they aren’t. Sell the story.

That’s a good comment actually. It highlights the fact that what you and I might see as attractive or unatractive, may be totally opposite of what a third person could. Tastes are varried, which is a great thing.
I will admit to thinking that my tastes have actually narrowed as I have gotten older too.

My 8th grade daughter comes home with spoon fed Goreisms, that I constantly have to refute to her. I am always printing out articles like these for her. Along with the Bush is a warmonger crap I have to knock down.

My 7th grade daughter was getting the same crap so I had here do some thinking, first I asked her: "If you grouped all the people in the world into one big group how much of the United States would they cover?"
I ran her through the math and such, (BTW her guess was most of the Eastern US to from the Atlantic Coast to the Mississippi.) and she was astonished at the result.

My 9 yr old 3rd grader asked me what the difference was between dems and repubs. To keep it simple, I just told him that democrats want most of our hard earned money to be taxed to give away to the lazy. Repubs think we should be able to keep more of it. He agreed.

She was smokin’ hot in The Mask and preceded to go straight downhill from there. My guess is drugs.
Pray for two or three years more of this cooler climate before any uptick appears at all. They are on the ropes now, and eventually they will fall, but this is the time to finish the job before they are able to get a second wind.
