Many Americans might wax nostalgic for the long lost America immortalized in Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post cover drawings. Not Keith Olbermann. He longs for the good old days when people like Rush Limbaugh . . . could be strung up. Here's the Countdown host tonight, speaking with Air America's Rachel Maddow:
KEITH OLBERMANN: Legally, we've come a very long way since the Haymarket bombing in Chicago in 1886 when we wound up hanging some anarchist writers, who were not even in the state, as murderers by proxy. And legally there is this question of "temporal remoteness" [separation in time between the statement and the act]. You say this now on the radio, it happens in August. It's not like yelling "fire!" in a crowded theater; it is protected speech. But do you think that Limbaugh has any idea that were he to repeat what he said on the air, say the day before the convention, or during it, he might actually be morally or legally responsible for incitement to riot?

Olbermann never saw/sees/will see a conservative he likes... hell, he’d most likely have demanded Abe Lincoln be strung up.
This Olber-turd ruined Old Timer’s Day at Yankee Stadium last July (he was the on-field announcer during the game)... I wished Donnie Baseball (the original #23) would have fouled one off Olbermann’s nose.
Keith regrets that a lot more people would rather listen to Rush than swallow the Olbermann swill.

Does GE use NBC/MSNBC as a tax write-off? I can’t imagine any reason it stays on the air. Is there one time slot where they even rank near the top? Other than you, Mark, what audience do they have?
Obermann doesn't have a clue, and being a lib means you never have to depend on common sense or facts to explain your position on anything.
Heck, in Lee's Summit, MO (where I live), using the word "noose" in conversation is enough to get high school students suspended. No, I'm NOT kidding!

Seeing people blindly follow a radio actor is troubling.
I’m sure that Olbermann is not inspiring or inciting that Rush be hung. He is only dreaming of Rush being hung.
