Thank you all for your continued prayers for Mike.

He is now happy to be home with his family. His pain is continual with meds, every 2 hours, knocking it down to 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Mike: "But the good news is that the Doctor says in about 7 more days the pain should start to go away. I can’t wait."

I will post an expanded update when I get home from work tonight.

This is not completely what we want, but surely an improvement. Thank you, Lord, for improvements in RedRock's condition and his comfort level.

UPDATE FOR REDROCK.......

Mike is now happily home with his family. His pain is continual, with meds every 2 hours knocking it down to 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

"This hurts worse than either wound I got in Vietnam. But the good news is that the Doctor says in about 7 more days the pain should start to go away. I can’t wait."

He is expecting to have surgery sometime around the end of June to remove part of his esophagus and stomach (the parts with tumor) and rebuild everything. Surgery is intense and the Doctor says 10-14 days (or more) in the hospital.

"Good thing the Hospital is so nice!!!!"

"Whenever I get a little weak in my resolve (and it does happen sometimes) I think of the Prayer thread....and it helps to pull me thru."
