This post is about Obama, but it's no joke. Why don't we seize the opportunity provided by the MSM's cramming of Obama down our throats to permanently de-claw the IRS?

This post (<-click), while addressing taxes, helps to explain why government "leaders" like Senator Obama are actually in contempt of the Constitution that they have sworn to defend, foolishly following in the footsteps of FDR's dirty federal spending politics. In fact, the article referenced below shows that Obama is the #1 federal spending proposer in the Senate for '08; Clinton is #2.

Obama, a big-shot federal spender

The people need to reconnect with the Founder's division of federal and state government powers. The people then need to wise up to the major problem that the federal government is not operating within the restraints of the federal Constitution, particularly where constitutionally unauthorized federal spending is concerned.

The bottom line is that the people need to send big-shot, Constitution-ignoring federal spenders like Obama home as opposed to trying to send people like him to the Oval Office. The people need to get in the faces of the feds, demanding a stop to constitutionally unauthorized federal spending while appropriately lowering federal taxes - or get out of DC.

The joke is fine as is. He used to call himself Barry, now he calls himself Barack. When I was in school there was an American born kid whose dad was from Pakistan. He preferred to be called Mo. (Actually, the Pakistani students were the most irreligious as a group, of any the nationalities. Persians were a close second.)

It’s ok but not factually correct. It gives the impression he changed his name from Barry to Barack, which apparantly isn’t true. His given name is Barack. He used Barry as an informal version, and then went back to the formal Barack. It’s a funny joke with some truth, but it’d be more accurate to say why did he change back to Barack. But then that would screw up the timing and wording of the joke. I see why they did it that way. It just isn’t exactly true.

Obama Insists He Can Win the Blue-Collar Vote

Put on the defensive by charges of “elitism,” Democratic presidential contender Senator Barack Obama (Ill) insisted that he can appeal to people in all walks of life.

“Those who say I can’t connect with the diverse peoples of this country don’t know the real me,” Obama said. “To say that I don’t understand the point of view of the blue-collar man is absurd. I, myself, have often worn a shirt with a blue collar. There are pictures of me in a blue shirt at campaign rallies. So, don’t tell me I don’t know what it is like to wear a blue-collar.”

As further evidence of the breadth of his exposure to a diverse culture, Obama reminded questioners that he had recently “choked down” most of a waffle at a morning campaign stop. This showed, Obama claimed, “that I’m willing to step outside my comfort zone to experience how the other fellow lives.”

His effort to, as he says, “commune with the common man,” goes back to his teen years when he forced himself to play basketball “because I understood it was what Black boys do.”

In related news, Obama reaffirmed his disinclination to engage in further debates with rival presidential contender Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) on the grounds that “she is a yammering harridan.”

No. I get the joke. I think it’s funny. It just isn’t exactly true. I can’t put it any simpler than that. It has just enough truth to be funny, but the true part is about his lack of patriotism. The name thing they fudged. I was curious if he actually changed his name TO Barack, which would have been news to me.

Must be a computer glitch. Google search results are solely driven by objective search algorithms and never manually hacked to serve agendas. Google testified to that in the KinderStart case.
