Although the rest of the country is in an economic slump, unemployment is going down in Arizona, from 4.5% in January to 4.1% in March.
Just doing the jobs illegal immigrants don't want too...

Gee, I hope the other states don’t try to steal these ideas from Arizona. ;-)

“Although Arizona’s Democrat Governor Janet Napolitano has vetoed most illegal immigration bills since 2002 when she entered office, Arizonans have bypassed her by sending initiatives directly to the ballot”
SWEET! Damn Liberal figure head.

“Since one out of every illegal immigrant is a felon, the result is felons are disproportionately moving to these places.”
Does that mean that someone actually SAID that every illegal is a felon to begin with for breaking immigration law? How un-PC of them. (FINALLY!) :)

Is this really true? Is it verifiable or merely anecdotal?

Oh woe is me, how will we ever afford to deport all those illegals? How will we find them? How can we afford to prosecute them? How can we? HOW CAN WE?
Enforce the law, damn it!
I'm going to love watching the landlords who rented to them scatter like cockroaches as the departures spread.

FTA: “Arizona’s llegal immigrants are fleeing to sanctuary cities like San Francisco...”

It looks like a typo to me. I think they were trying to say 'one out of every (some number) of illegal immigrants are felons' but the editor neglected to notice that they didn't put the number in.

Same thing happened in Oklahoma and other places that began to enforce anti-illgal immigrant laws.

Yes, but just wait 'til the cost of lettuce jumps to $10 per head. The Arizona residents will be begging to bring the illegals back.

Yes indeedy, and that the same “someone” is now the candidate for President on the Republican side, it’s certainly an “interesting” occurence coming from his own state!

“...every illegal is a felon to begin with.”
I think it’s a typo. There’s a word missing.
But if it was meant to say that every illegal is a felon, then that would be plain wrong. You may not like it and I may not like it, but just being in the country without proper authorization IS NOT A FELONY.

Illegal aliens, folks, not illegal immigrants. Immigrants describes only people who come here intending to stay, not everyone who comes over the border. The word “immigrant” does not describe everyone who’s part of the problem.

You may not like it and I may not like it, but just being in the country without proper authorization IS NOT A FELONY. That may be true but many felonies occur after entering. Look at all the document fraud that was going on in Iowa. If Americans did that they could expect jail time but the most these "migrants" will get is a free trip back home, if even that.
