He knew. I don't know if he knew about Takei, but he knew about Hudson. Hudson was one of the most unkept secrets in Hollywood. Hudson was actually losing parts because it was such a poorly kept secret that he was gay that the studios feared it would hit the papers. Wayne gave Hudson the part at a time that it really saved his career. From what I understand, Wayne didn't endorse Hudson's lifestyle, but also didn't pay much attention to it either.

No Hollywood actor could work without working with homosexuals or bisexuals. Richard Deacon, Nancy Culp, Paul Lynde, Agnes Moorehead, Rock Hudson, Dick Sargent, Nancy Walker, George Takaei, William Shatner, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Robert Reed, Cary Grant, Greta Garbo, Katherine Hepburn, Betty Davis, Rosanne Bar, Rosie O'Donnel, Ellen Degeneres, Will Geer(Grandpa Walton), Brian Singer (director, XMen), Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and many others were either openly homosexual, closeted, or have had tons of insider rumors about them being homosexual.

William Shatner, gay? I don’t think so.

Shatner’s one of the heavy rumor guys. I used to do fire inspections, and had to inspect a row of gay bars. They would have photos of gay icons. Shatner was usually included, and there have been lots of rumors about him. Of course, not all the people in the photos were gay, but were usually of high significance to homosexuals. Elvis, Liberace, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, and Shatner were the most common photos. I’ve never met Shatner and have no idea one way or the other. It’s like Burt Reynolds and Jim Neighbors. Tons of rumors, tons of denials, no idea as to the truth. I still think Gomer would be a funny homosexual. “Goooollllleeeee.”

"As for Peter Lorre...heck, I didn’t know!"

His character in The Maltese Falcon (Joel Cairo)was a little light in the loafers, but in the book, there was no doubt.

"We can have the dignity, as well as all the responsibilities, of marriage. We embrace it all heartily,"

Activist judges can only change the law, they can not legislate dignity. And it is an indignation to try.

Respect that is mandated rather than earned is not real.

She was (several times) but I think in that ep. that one of Dax’s previous hosts was a woman who was married to one of the previous host’s of that woman who was a man at the time.

In the First Contact movie, Lt. Hawks (the helm officer) was supposed to be gay but the scene that showed that was cut from the final movie.

Why are the gays so happy about this: really they’re just fooling themselves, this will NOT make them happy. They’d be better off to seek God, The Father and salvation through His Son..seriously.

MAN OUR WORLD IS WACK-(upsidown)!

Hilarious. I used to be against gay marriage. Now I’m thinking we should let ‘em do it and make fools of themselves.

Well, if it is to be that way, then they will have to put up with the same rules and trials of marriage such as pre-nups, divorce laws, and so on. If they want the "right" to marry, then they must also be willing to except the duties and bounds of marriage. I wouldn't care one way or another if government was not involved with marriage at all and it was only left up to the church (or other religious body) but if my church would allow homosexual marriage, I'm out of there. However, government does recognize and relegate the marriage business, for better or worse (pun intended) so I don't think that homosexual marriage should be recognized. With this decision if it goes further and it is allows, then you'll open the door to other forms such as polygamy/polyandry and even beyond that. At least polygamy is a little more "legit" where you have one guy and more than one woman or for polyandry, the reverse, at least you can produce the next generation from such unions. It seems like the courts keep wrangling over this, I say let's put it to the people to decide. I know our side would most likely win where the people themselves will say no but if it turns out the other way, I won't like it but at least the people have spoken.
