Whether Obama knows it or not, and whether his campaign staff knows it or not, the core belief system of the Obama campaign is codepinkthink. Most of their efforts in this campaign are devoted to making a leftist ideology look as far to the right as is humanly possible when its deepest roots are opposition to the military, religion and the free market.
Yes, I do believe leftists can blind themselves to their own ideology and its evils. I don’t know who are worse, the tyrants of leftism or the mere useful idiots. Perhaps all leftists truly believe, somewhere inside, that their cause is just. Sometimes I think the true tyrants are only found in the depths of Hell, while the Stalins, Alinskies and Soroses are in the end only puppets. But corruption taints the will of fools and scoundrels alike.
Here’s what David Axelrod, Obama’s chief political strategist, said on MSNBC this morning at around five minutes to eight, and I paraphrase: “Americans who have served in Iraq—those who have come home—have served their country honorably.”
In my opinion (admittedly, I'm just a regular guy) the only way to make a statement like this, speaking on national television as chief political strategist of a presidential candidate, is in association with a deep, unspoken hatred for the military.

And we know these things despite Obama’s protection by a biased media. What’s out there we don’t know about yet?

Adolph Hitler and the Nazis were so totally frightful in what they did in Russia that they accomplished the otherwise impossible: they made Joe Stalin a genuine popular hero. Obama and the Obamaniacs are rapidly doing the same thing for McCain, in spite of McCain’s best efforts to the contrary.
What more do you need to know??? If not another negative fact or inconvenient truth comes out about Obama between now and November, it doesn't matter. I have, by now, heard and seen enough to tell me what I need to know about him.

You forget one thing: he’s black. The media is not going to let the first black president be exposed for the dangerous uber-lib that he is. It's faint praise to even have to say it.I am put in mind of the commencement address I monitored via webcast since I couldn't be there in person. And the speaker gave his entire talk about public service in the aftermath of 9/11/01 . . . without ever mentioning the possibility of joining the military.
What does it mean when someone spends his life "fighting oppression" in the contemporary United States? Pretty much, it means picking a fight with someone you know is not dangerous. A fair definition of a bully, don't you think? And that is pretty much where Obama and Hillary come from.

If Obama’s weakness, gullibility and luke-warm patriotism cost even one American life, it's too high a price for anyone's entitlement. I don't believe the founding fathers meant our military to buy Americans that kind of a free ride at the expense of hard working taxpayers and I don't think they meant American taxpayers and honest citizens to be the helpless victims of a President so gullible and arrogant he doesn't know an enemy from apple butter!!!
David Dinkins is black, too - but that didn't prevent his defeat for reelection as Mayor of NY City in 1993. By Rudi Guiliani, after Bill Clinton had told us that it would be racist to vote against Dinkins. If "liberal" NYC can defeat a black for reelection, I think the country as a whole can defeat a black for election when it's plain that he has no love for the majority of the people of the country.I suspect that Obama will poll well right up to election day - and tank when the voters step into the privacy of the voting booth and consider what it would mean for their family if an anti-America racist was naming the judges and the Secretary of Defense and the Attorney General and so forth.
This election is not likely to be a nail-biter because neither candidate will have their base nailed down tight and a solid claim on the affections in the middle. The whole country will be purple - and whatever tips it, will tip it big.
I understand your point and many others are making it. However, like Clinton 1993 the entire focus will be on him and his supermajority and the press will not be able to resist the juicy screw up stories their competition will be luring readers/watchers with. Plus all his unrealistic promises that Marxism cant deliver.
Understand the the current dynamics of Republicans through Bush being to blame for everything bad can only continue if McCain wins. A no power democrat dealing mCCain can only take on all Bush’s apparent sins. But Obama with supermajority is too tempting, it’s the only story. Clinton had no bad press in 1992, built him up like Obama, in 1993 and 1994 they tore him down. They couldnt resist.
Taking from hardworking citizens to give to the slothful and the non citizen will remove the incentive to work hard.
A society that takes from each according to ability and gives to each according to need creates little ability and a lot of need.
The point I was trying to make is that whatever mischief Obama does will be permanent. People are mistaken if they think a “real” conservative elected in 2012 or 2016 is going to simply pick up where the country left off in ‘08.
His voting record in the Senate is proof.
He and his campaign managers deserve a great deal if credit--as they have done an incredibly masterful job of hiding, blurring and obscuring that fact.
