A Home Depot store in Utah plans to celebrate Gay pride in the Store with decorations of Rainbows and employee Tee shirts announcing gay pride. Inside sources say that this is something that will be devastating to business as most of the customer base tends to be on the Right side of the issue as they are mostly religious people. I am actively involved in this business and i dont want to be a part of it bacuae this is contrary to my belief and would like advice from more experienced FReepers on how best to disrupt these outrageous plans...

Contact the Alliance Defense Fund for support in avoiding participation. If you are forced or reprimanded you have a nice suit to pursue. The perverts and pedophiles can’t force this disgusting behavior in your face if you find it rightly offensive. The sickos are winning as long as we stand by and take it. I really doubt this will affect business. Most people probably won’t even notice. At least around where I live.
Is this a 1 day event (take a vacation day) or a week long or summer long event? Don’t wear the T-Shirt. Tear down the signs. Just be ready to face repercussions. Heck, ask your boss what they will do to employees who refuse to submit to such a demeaning action.
Can you imagine the reaction if they were supporting marriage and the traditional family? Suppose a major retailer said they support marriage and family. In today’s politically correct climate, they would be charged with being anti-homosexual.
However, if you quit and you were able to convince 10 or 12 of your fellow HD employees to quit, you would sent a strong message.
And what is more important, paying your bills or sending a righteous message?
I don’t understand how this would stop you from liking a store? They obviously have felt this way before, when you liked them.
And their sales would go UP.

Shouldn’t this be “sexual pride” or “self-awareness pride”?
They can celebrate “holiday season” all month long in December and end it on December 26th with loads of “post holiday” sales (even though the “season” of so many holidays ends with New Year’s).
WTF is going on?
I could find no such place named “Home Deopt” on The Google.
