Good grief. I am so tired of hearing about the "justified" rage from people whose great-grandparents weren't even slaves, directed at people of whom many didn't even have ancestors here until after slavery was abolished. And of those who did have ancestors here then, only a tiny percentage were ever slave owners. Anyway, many peoples have been held in slavery throughout history, but they're not still whinging on centuries later about how it has kept them back or ruined their chances of competing on a level playing field. I mean, can I sue the Italians for reparations in case some of my ancestors were held in slavery under the Romans? What about the Arabs-they're still engaging in slavery as we speak. No, only American whites fall for this, and are suckers, and only American whites are held to this standard, because only American whites would be stupid enough to even consider that they might "owe" someone for what someone else's ancestors did, and only American whites (the tax-paying classes), could be blackmailed into even considering forking over money for this absurdity. It's not about "righting past wrongs", it's "follow the money honey".
