...But perhaps most puzzling is how McCain could have gained traction in the past month

That's for sure.

McLame is the weakest candidate the GOP could field. That's why the clever opposition stuck us with him. A decent candidate would be up over Obama by 15 points. Reagan would be ahead by thirty.

It's pitiful what this country has sunk to and whom we will elect as the next President.

Bush’s fault that Obama is a suicide bomber.

Probably in the end, the Democrats wil regret that they passed up on Hillary.

I used to think Obama would be harder to beat. I no longer think so.

I am reminded of the story by Rudyard Kipling, The Man Who Would Be King, I think.

A British fellow shows up in a mountainous place in Central Asia and is considered a divinity. However, one time he cuts himself and is seen to bleed - then the locals behead him because if he bleeds, he is human just like they are.

Obama is in the same sort of position - if he is truly the LiberalMessiah, he does not make mistakes.

Right title, wrong on some particulars. Interesting comparison.

Downloadable story here.

Just an example of how brainwashed the American people are, I spent 2 weeks up north with my beloved but politically ignorant sister. She said she won’t vote for Republicans because they will raise taxes too much! But to give her credit, she doesn’t like Obama. She will probably vote for Nadar. LOL

LOL at the headline to this story. If they can’t figure this out, how can they even write news stories? LOL!

I thought John Kerry already established beyond a reasonable doubt that American voters aren’t fond of flip-floppers. Obama is discovering that the regular rules apply even to him....

Groucho Marx: “I don’t want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member.”

American Public: “We don’t want to vote for a president who will do or say anything to get elected.”

If voters wanted a follower instead of a leader, Olambi would be a lock.

YES!!!

Somebody needs to come out and say it, and you did! I think, like you, McCain will win in a landslide. And man oh man, like you say, they don’t see it coming, won’t have seen it coming and there will be great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

YES!!!

Glad I made your day =)

I think there’s a twofer in this coming election. I bet the Dem majorities will be sliced as well against common wisdom.

When Obambi said we can’t drive our SUVs as much as we like, eat as much as we like and cool our houses to 72 because the rest of world won’t like it, voters went huh?

"McCain has announced major initiatives on energy and the economy but failed to dominate the conversation on those issues."

Gee wiz I wonder how McCain can't dominate a conversation in the MSM over Obomba?

“Could it be American’s are not that stupid?”

Or could it be that the Mediacrats are looking for the biggest ratings ever with a Draft Hillary movement?
