But perhaps most puzzling is how McCain could have gained traction in the past month. To date, direct engagement with Obama has not seemed to favor the GOP nominee. McCain has announced major initiatives on energy and the economy but failed to dominate the conversation on those issues.

Let's see... The Obamassiah refuses to debate McCain, so there hasn't been direct engagement.

And I don't believe Newsweek of the other MSM sources have paid any attention and refuse to give much article-space at all to McCain. So there's the failure to dominate the conversation...

Essentially, Newsweek is saying they simply aren't shilling hard enough for their anointed, halo equipped savior.

While the moonbats will follow him anywhere they aren’t the majority of the Democratic party. The rest ofthe more moderates in the party are now wanting to know more about “hope and change” and since they are just words and have no substance they aren’t impressed.

Is this the same photo with him having a fag? Is the cig photoshopped in or out?

Identical photo; original photo is the smoking one:

I flipped the image, trimmed it down to the same size and aspect ratio. An overlay of the two shows it to be the EXACT same image.

If the country can resoundingly reject this attempt by George Soros to take over the country, using all the useful idiots he can muster, they may leave us alone for a while, figuring it is not their time yet. If it is close, but McCain wins, there will be riots in the streets and we will look like Italy in the 50s. The leftists are too close to having the numbers, and have spread out far and wide geographically. Their control of the "commanding heights" of the education system has allowed them to turn conservative areas into liberal ones by getting at the children of conservatives, and where that is not working, they are doing their best to import voters.

We are in a "cold" civil war, only this time, it is not region vs. region, but ideology vs. ideology. Personally, I would like to give them 3/4 of the country, if they will let us keep America in 1/4 of it. They will collapse in a few decades, and we will get it all back later, anyway. Unfortunately, that is not an option. If they get their way, and overtly overthrow the Constitution, it will either become a hot war or we will become slaves to an authoritarian socialist regime that will not change hands again.

You base your assessment on McCain being a weak candidate on the polls. You also base it on what the media has to say about his campaign, Fox included. None of us, not you or me have been along with him on ther trail so we only have his performance second hand. From what we know Hussein has made far more and more serious gaffes then McCain and although both have flip flopped, Hussein has done so on far more of his core issues while the biggest flip flop from McCain can be said to be his reversal on drilling off the coasts. But this switch makes perfect sense given the current conditions regarding the price of oil.

Bottom line is the media loves ther young Hussein because he is black and this is a story in and of itself. He is a 100% media creation and you have drawn your conclusions about his campaign from what they have said.

Just my opinion.

Edges are softer, meaning it hadn’t been digitally sharpened; soft edges usually come from scans of photos.

Plus, the smoking photo has been around for a LONG time! This is the first time I’ve seen him not smoking, and we know that he’s been a smoker for pretty much his entire life.

Obama wears really thin over time. That same cadence over and over again doesn’t play well. He has a distinct, snarky ‘smartest kid in the 6th grade’ vibe, and nobody really likes that. He also giggles at his own jokes, a no-no in comedy circles.

Americans are pretty stupid these days

I know I work with them.

Do you ever wonder what some of your co workers might say about you?

My take on Obama's ciggie photo has always been that it was a fake. Obama looks awful in the photo even minus the cigarette. I figured the Obama campaign would never let such a photo escape them. But I believe you on this

I always figured it was photoshopped!

It looks like Hawaiian officials are stone walling the release of Obama's birth certificate.

Here’s another blogger giving a thumbs down with pics to obama’s birth certificate. The guy says he is a board certified forensic computer investigator. He says his background includes a lot of investigations into forgeries. His work on obama's birth certificate shows a lot detail.

Here is a google search of the obama birth certificate

In her remarks on MSNBC Michelle Obama says of Barak. "His own mother, she said at the beginning of her remarks, was "very young and very single when she had him." "

Its reasonable to conclude that the Obama campaign would be hesitant to release his birth certificate because it would show that he was born illegitamate. Since there is a significant percent of the US population that is illegitimate -- you would think that barak would be comfortable releasing his birth certificate. but maybe not.

Jesse Jackson's remarks about wanting to cut off baraks nuts came because of baraks speech that exhorted fathers to take part in their children's lives--especially black fathers.

That speech may have come because of speculation on the internet about baraks birth certificate--which would show that his mom was single when she gave birth.

As well Michelle's remarks that barak's mother was "very single" when barak was born means that barak obama was born "barry dunham".

The 15 point lead was all hype and wishful thinking. Also, Obama is on the wrong side of the energy issue and he is proving he is nothing new. The magic Negro is just a one hit wonder, a one trick pony, a flash in the pan.

YES!!! Somebody needs to come out and say it, and you did! I think, like you, McCain will win in a landslide. And man oh man, like you say, they don’t see it coming, won’t have seen it coming and there will be great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I can only hope there will be footage of the control rooms at air America, to this day that is some of the funniest footage I have ever seen, even funnier that Ron White.

"drop"

That was my prediction several months ago. I said that the more the public found out about Obama, the less they'd like him. Thanks to the inadequacy of McCain though, this will still be a close election. McCain has been handed a gold-plated opportunity to smash Obama's ridiculous propositions and "solutions", but he is totally inept. Giuliani or any other Pubbie candidate would have made mincemeat of Obama's campaign.
