Oh my. Excuse me while, I wipe away the tears.
RIP Tony.
Wow. Really sad. I got to meet Tony at the White House when I visited Pres. Bush in August of 06. We didn’t get to talk much, but I told him how much I enjoyed his radio commentary. There just seems to be no justice when people like Jesse Jackson and Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid keep walking around, and someone like Tony Snow and the other day, also, Yankee great Bobby Murcer, die way too young.
Lord God....someday, please explain to us why YOU in YOUR wisdom take home the best and the finest but leave the evil, the immoral, the scrum to live and spread their ugliness over all the earth....
I don't understand....I just don't.....
Did she have a colonoscopy and the found noting yet she still had cancer
The idiot doctor didn’t even give her a rectal exam. The ER doc found it in 2 minutes.
Amen. It must have been tremendously difficult for Tony's father to see his son go through this and after losing his wife to this as well. God bless Tony and his family and friends. I will always remember the great person that he is.
For patients to rally at the end, is quite common in my experience.
Prayers up for Tony and his family.
I’ve lost many friends and family members over the last 10 years, and a significant increase in alertness and appearance, after a long decline, has been very common just days before they have died.
My recommendation is rejoice during those last lucid moments, and say what is on your heart. For this is not always an indication that you’ll have another chance.
I have put down my lantern.
I have found an honest man.
Great advice. God bless.
We should be having colonoscopies yearly (those of us
in “middle age”).
Bill,
I think Tony would be aware of the irony. C.S. Lewis probed the subject with The Problem with Pain. The theme of "how can bad things happen to good people" is not new. If anyone could have entitled to loose his religion over it, Tony could. He was supremely aware of how blessed his life was. He wrote of it here:

It is well worth the read. And for Tony and the adventure of what he called his 'promotion':
May God make safe to you each step;
May God make open to you each pass;
May God make clear to you each road;
And may He take you in the clasp
Of His own two hands.
And may it be so for you, Bill.
We should be having colonoscopies yearly (those of us
in middle age).
Some doctors give a hard time about this. They must get a benefit from keeping the costs low.
“....after a long decline, has been very common just days before they have died.”
This reminds me of Tammy Faye who went on Larry King with all of the energy she could muster to be able to tell as many as possible that she was not afraid to die and that we should not be afraid either; and that she forgave her enemies. I believe she passed a few days later. Never really fond of Tammy but this program and her spirit moved me to tears!

Yep, it's all about you.
Prayers for his family.
Well, I sure hope that was the case, if not then folks should work to see it done.
This Jew said our prayer.
