They're using Markey for their talking points because no matter what he says it won't hurt him.

He just did what they asked him to do. I guess they were just bluffing.

The radio news played that idiot Markley saying “Drill, drill, drill, has failed, failed, failed.” It hasn’t been tried yet, you fricking RAT idiot! Stop spouting leftist talking points and cute catch phrases and get out of the way!

Over 70% of Americans are on to the Rats game and are tired of playing.

Let this election be on whether we should drill or not. I think that’s an issue that will destroy the Democrat party. They will be decimated and will wonder how they could have missed it so badly. Let’s take this fight to them. They are WRONG on this and will pay dearly at the polls in November.

Well, I hope someone can find out who it was. It might have been Red Harry or Nasty Pellagra. Having the two quotes juxtaposed might make for some very interesting comments in the halls of Congress and in attack ads!

Harry just lost the Senate if the stupid party plays this right. You're forgetting how brain dead most voters are. Especially democrat/socialist voters.

Reid and the democrats should move to another country because they are trying to destroy America.

What do you think old Harry's IQ is? He never sounds very intelligent to me.
I know everyone makes fun of the Presidents IQ, but with a few exceptions (Harriet Myers), I just don't see it.
However, Harry just never seems to say anything intellectual. I think they are just throwing our any sounds bites they can and trying to see if anybody buys it. The idea that not allowing drilling offshore when everyone is suffering is just not very smart.

Yah, but who says Bela Pelosi or Dingy Harry will even allow a vote on it? I'll wager you $20 to a cold beer that those two Marxists will conjure up some sort of 'continuing resolution' or an equivalent that has the effect of continuing the OCS drilling ban
without any accountability to the Regress.
Care to fade me?
Oh, and Dingy Harry is distinctly a power-mad idiot, no question about it.

High gas prices = bad economy
Bad economy = democrat advantage
Pretty much sums it up!

Well, well, well the election in November just got a hell of a lot more interesting.
All the Democrats want to do is have meeting after useless meeting about Carl Rove, what did Bush Knew in 2001 and whether or not some overpaid athlete is taking an illegally baned drug.
All this while America sinks for a lack of a viable energy plan.
Damn Democrats have to go and sooner than later.

The enviroweenies could care less if there is an upcoming election...they simply go to a lifetime appointed Clinton judge and it WILL be tied up in the courts.

If Americans are still paying $4.11 average a gallon by November it will happen.
And don't forget what I've already heard a lot of people talking about here in the northeast...heating oil. Those prices combined with gas prices will provoke a very angry reaction. But which party will bear the brunt of it?
As someone else posted in this thread, if the stupid party can just do one thing right this year, they could swing the election by justifiably painting the democrats as beholden to envirowhackos and unwilling to drill domestically. A good start would be a biting 527 ad featuring the Obama quote from one of the Sunday shows where he basically says he has no problem with gas prices rising...he's just sorry they rose so quickly.

Excellent point that has evidently flown over Reid's head.
If Reid continues to mess around with tourism, the idiot just might end up in some Gang Mafioso's Lost Wages casinos concrete foundation like his fellow traveler Jimmy Hoffa in Detroit.

Actually, I’ve used a few key questions regarding this subject.
We’re not drilling there now, but other countries are. If there should be an oil accident, who do you think the world will turn to, too clean it up?
Do you really believe other countries are more careful and better regulated than the United States?
When do you personally anticipate alternative energy sources to be become viable commodities? 5yrs., 10yrs., 20?
What should we do in the mean time? Continue to be beholden to the MidEast? Continue to force our countries “imperialism” on Arab nations for oil?
Which would make you feel better? Getting out of the MidEast and being self-sufficient on our own accord or continue in the present manner for the next 5-20 years.
