Skip to comments.O'Reilly Live Thread: Taking The AP To the Woodshed Over Tony Snow Insult
Posted on 07/14/2008 5:04:30 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55
O'Reilly is doing what he does best. Calling out evil for what it is.
Says Huffington Post has cleaned up it’s act.
But Daily Kos is still sick he says.
O’Reilly says Tony would have overlooked the insult.. but he won’t.
Watching now. Good for him!
AP is disgusting.
It’s beyond disgusting.
O’Reilly says the AP is no longer a news service.
Gotta agree with him on that.
and btw, the AP guy looked like a weasel.
Bill says used to they could take an AP story and go on the air with it.
He says now it’s always distorted and they can never use a story word for word.
LA Times guy resigned today.
Get ‘em, Griff!
Did somebody at the LA Times say Tony should be buried in a Nazi uniform? Ugh!
What did AP say?
I dunno...didn’t see that article. Sure sounds like it.
Griff is a great guy himself! He reminds me a lot of Tony!
The AP said in Tony’s Obit that he
“did not always have command of the facts”
He said he’s personally hurt by the insult.
You gotta feel for Griff. This stuff is so frustrating
I didn't know Mr. Snow personally, but knowing his personality, where-ever Mr. Snow is now, he's probably chuckling at that statement.
And pitying the poor soul who uttered it.
It’s the AP that doesn’t have “command of the facts.”
That’s what they just said on O’Reilly. That Tony would have laughed at it all.
He probably would have. But we are not overlooking it.
With the passing of Russert so close to Tony, it just becomes so obvious the difference between the Left and the Right. While there are some nuts on this side, you would never see a credible conservative media organization allow spew about Russert being spread on their pages. Instead, we get liberal rags like the LA Times allowing a reader to wonder if Snow would be buried in his Nazi uniform. These people are the most hatefilled I’ve ever encountered.
Yeah, I was touched by his direct comments about grieving with Tony’s wife.
The world would be better off without the AP and The Westboro Baptist Church.
I hope and pray the days are over when we roll over and just sigh when this garbage slanders a good Conservative. I know I would fight for Tony..and his good friends are there to cover his back.
Kudos to Griff, Bill and Juan.
Amen to that.
I was just reading the comments that the LA Times allowed on their website. It is truly despicable...and I am shocked that they are still have the comments posted!!
Rush was the first to bring this article up.
We have to stand up and fight for our side.. or we won’t have a side pretty soon.
Prayers continue for Griff--he is grieving and having to defend Tony's honour at the same time--even as he comforts Tony's family.
BTTT for Griff!
Rush did that saturday.
Stick your knuckles out and then go sit in the corner for an hour and eat worms.
Yeah he went after them today too.
Rush is a national treasure.
Ted Baxter has his moments, though few, good for BOR.
Yep he has his moments!
I love this segment where he sends his producer to confront politicians.
They NEED to be confronted about some of the stuff they vote for.
No more freebies.
That Kansas governor was trying to run in her high heels:)
In the NYTimes article about Rush Limbaugh, he compared BOR to Ted Baxter.
Haha I read that
I must stop reading those comments on the Times website. I am so mad I could ...well, I dunno what I could do.
It is the lowest of the low that they would leave those comments up.....about anybody. I can’t believe how hateful the left can be.
She said Tiller was a “Health Care Provider”
SICK SICK SICK!
He’s not a Health Care Provider. As O’Reilly said.. he’s running a death mill in Kansas.
I know what you mean.
Between the Westboro Baptist Church and the AP I’m really fed up.
Rush truly is.
Be nice to think that there may be some integrity left in some of these MSM people after all.
Did something happen at the Tribune?
Besides Leftist Scum oozing out of the front pages.
The mainstream news media again beats their own record for disgusting conduct. I'm not surprised.
The announcement of Hiller’s departure came the same day as the resignation of Ann Marie Lipinski, 52, as editor of the Chicago Tribune. Lipinski will be replaced by Gerould W. Kern, 58, a former associate and deputy managing editor at the newspaper who has been vice president of editorial at the company’s Tribune Publishing unit since 2003.
This still hurts so much.
Yes, it is. He was such a classy guy.
Yep...I believe that Westboro Baptist Church is nothing but a leftist front group with one goal...giving Christianity a very bad name. I shudder to think about the judgment they will receive one day.
