AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Remember the Harry and Louise commercials and how effective it was in exposing Hillary care? Truth wins out when truth gets to the “masses”.

“I hope it comes down under $100 again....I for one, will not be happy unless it’s under $3.00 gal. again.”

Laws of international finance will not allow it to stick at $100/barrel for long unless we quit importing. I would rather have $4 gallon and a robust economy than $3 and we are transferring trillions overseas. My concern is not just Arabs, but even sending all this money to Canada is terrible for our economy. The economy can thrive under $4 or even $5 gasoline as long as we do not sink the dollar this way. In fact $3 could actually incent inflation.

Strongly recommend Dr Sowell for a more learned and detailed explanation.

$3 gallon gasoline as a result of a slowing economy is junk food.

I can’t believe that is an active Captain would write that (but I believe that would happen). I would check Snopes later on and see if there is any truth to that letter.

IIRC, that was an e-mail the Capt. sent to a friend. That friend started it on it’s way around the WWW without deleting the Capt’s name. I believe he’s already gotten some flack over it.

I hope the crude prices stay up long enough to change the American citizen’s mind and our laws on domestic drilling. If the price drops before this is resolved, we will continue to face these same problems.

Hillary’s PUMA supporters dissed by DNC
http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/showthread.php?t=21552 ^

Not much love between the Obamites and the Hillary PUMAs..to say the least! See thread content below:

(7-28-08) Negative Super Responses to PumaPac (PumaPac)

PumaPAC is collecting all responses from Supers and the DNC that are ..hum...less then respectful to the voter expressing their opinion and/or asking that they continue to, or switch, support to HRC, as well as work to allow her name to be placed in nomination.

Plans are being made to use them as the GE draws closer. If you are a PumaPAC member you have the addy they asked these types of responses be mailed to.

A few samples of the ones beng saved are below. These are posted on PumaPac site - if you are not a member yet please consider joining. As Puma becomer more and more visable, the larger the official ranks, the louder the perceived and actual voice. There is strength in numbers

http://blog.pumapac.org/

Quote: from Garry S. Shay, Member, DNC (CA) and Lead Chair Rules Committee, California Democratic Party, to a Democratic voter from California, July 18, 2008.

“The racist bullshit I have gotten from my fellow Clinton supporters has been enough to make me puke. You have a choice. No one would be forcing you. It is a choice. A choice you will have to live with. 100 years in Iraq if McCain gets elected. Thousands more dead American Soldiers.”

Quote: from Dwight Pelz, WA State Democratic Party Chair and Super Delegate, to a Democratic voter in Maryland in response to an email she sent requesting an open convention and roll call vote, on July 18, 2008.

“Man, you have to chill. Try tennis!”

Quote: from Steven Ybarra, a California Super Delegate, in response to a letter from a Democratic voter, July 8, 2008.

“Good for you, when the fascists come in the middle of the night to take you to a concentration camp, remember how you voted. Take me off your whiner list . . .then tell them to stop calling me telling me that they are going to vote for mccain. i am would rather vote for a rabid dog than any Fascist republican like mccain. read the declaration of independence.”

Note: I got this response too - it was the result of a daily growl

Quote: from Ben Johnson, member of the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee, to Sherry, a Democratic voter from Michigan, July 7, 2008.

“When God was giving out brains…you thought he said trains…and you missed yours. Who gives a croc what you do, its your business fool.”

Quote: from Patti Higgins, Alaska State Party Chair and Superdelegate, to a Democratic voter who asked that she ensure an open convention and roll call vote for all the delegates, July 18, 2008.

“Having Senator Clinton’s name on a roll call without having the votes would just embarrass her, waste time, and make people agonize over nothing. I find it difficult to believe that this organization is not an undercover McCain operation. If you want to be productive, advocate for Senator Obama to choose Senator Clinton as his running mate.”

Quote: Arizona Super Delegate and former state senator, to a Democratic voter who requested that she help make sure that the Convention includes an open roll call vote as in years’ past, July 18, 2008.

GOD WILL GUIDE THE HAND OF JUDGMENT THAT WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN! Do not email us again. Thank you.” from Carolyn Warner

Quote: from Donna Brazile to Jennifer, a Democratic voter, May 2008 (Though she claims to be a working class person, Donna Brazile has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in America, is a best-selling author, and is represented as a speaker for hire by the Harry Walker Agency, the same firm that represents Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Michael Eisner, and Henry Kissenger.

“Honestly, this is the 9th email today, so I believe you’re ready to not only destroy Roe versus Wade, voting rights, civil liberties and civil rights. Perhaps adding trillions more to the deficits through non stop tax cuts to the wealthy and 100 more years in Iraq. Yes, please join Rush and McCain asap. The train has left. Catch it. Please don’t send these emails to working people like myself. Notice you sent it to my campus address. I am a working class person. Can you find someone who drinks latte? Message to the base: stay home.”

And there are more at the site

I knew Obama set up the prayer from the wall... I had hoped not, but he did. It’s not the first religion under the bus move. This guy has been about chaos from the beginning; He tried to split whites and blacks using his church, after twenty years (so you figure he believed it and would never leave, but he wasn’t there for the gospel... obviously), tossed Wright (don’t be fooled, a lot of blacks are still mad and thought he attempted to make blacks sow division between factions and leave churches), he’s twisted the gospel for the purposes of same sex and abortion as he proceeded to make top evangelists look like fruitcakes via media, he made sure Fr. Pfleger was taped when he was told the camera was out/Catholic slap, he spoke on clinging to God, guns, religion (would a Christian say that), he’s turned Jesse Jr. against his father, he has atheists and church haters in force all over youtube (as you attempt to figure out the connection), bashing every seeming Christian posting or commenting there re: Obama (sounds crazy right... you know the host defilers and professors re: universities, guess who they support, i’ve talked to the young guy and his dad as well as the professors). Now it’s the abomination of desolation at the wall. He mocks and uses religion in a way Lenin or Hitler would appreciate... it’s just a tool. I guess we just have to wait for the seven year treaty.

He’s anti-christ. I don’t care if it’s brand communist, islamist, atheist, darwinist, etc. Same beast through history, different names.

“I hope the crude prices stay up long enough to change the American citizen’s mind and our laws on domestic drilling. If the price drops before this is resolved, we will continue to face these same problems.”

Exactly. If price comes down the driving goes up and the amount of money that pours and pours out of the economy stays the same.

At these prices drilling in FL would contribute billions of dollars in royalties to the State and hopefully keep taxes down and make plenty of jobs.

I’m not in favor of high prices but I want to see the prices come down via a increased domestic supply, astronger dollar and domestic conservation of $$$$s.
