Everyone, please say a prayer for FReeper YaYA123, who passed away this weekend. She was a regular to the Sunday thread, and always made excellent comments and reports on the shows.

She will be missed!

Good morning. On Friday's Fox & Friends, Chris Wallace said his first topic will be Britney Spears and Paris Hilton complaining about being compared to politicians such as Barack Obama. Nice display of a sense of humor, and it got the weekend off to a good start for me.

Now, if only the Sunday morning shows could explain how we are better off with Congress continuing our dependence on foreigh oil, the weekend would be even better.

Good morning, FRiends. Gosh, what a cast of characters today! If anything, Rush will have some groovy sound bites for tomorrow. Wonder if Queen Bee will mention all the calls to her office on Friday. Tom R. and Joe L. must still be trying out for VP. David Rodham Gergan might be interesting...he was the first to speak against Boy Wonder. And good old Lurch...taking a break from summer windsurfing to tell us he has some plan.

There must be a sum total of 14 people who can face the media.

We see the same ole faces, same ole names, get the same ole political pitches, week after week after week.

Can’t the weekend talkie programs find a new face or two????

There are a few reasons why to suspect Obama has Attention Deificit, the criteria for ADHD symptoms from;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention-deficit_hyperactivity_disorder

.
1. Often forgetful in daily activities.

Example: Obama says he doesn’t pay much attention to McCains campaign adds, yet he knows what isn’t in them,

.
2. Often has trouble keeping attention on tasks or play activities.

Example: Joe Bidens observations;

Biden wasn’t always defending Obama...

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/07/17/1204594.aspx

On Aug. 1, 2007, when Obama unveiled his counterterrorism agenda, the Biden camp fired off a snarky email congratulating him for his “Johnny-come-lately position” on Afghanistan, noting that during two Foreign Relations Committee hearings on Afghanistan and other subjects, Obama didn’t ask questions about the Taliban, Al Qaeda, or Afghanistan.

.
3. Often forgetful in daily activities.

Example: Obama says “ahhhhh” all the time when he isn’t scripted

.
4. Often avoids, dislikes, or doesn’t want to do things that take a lot of mental effort for a long period of time (such as schoolwork or homework).

Example: Obama stayed less than 1 day in Iraq to study what was happening on the ground

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" — the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment — was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions. What's now left is the final and complicated push to clean up the remaining radioactive debris at the former Tuwaitha nuclear complex about 12 miles south of Baghdad

“The Revolt on the Hill—Lights out” -- Freepers do their thing one more time and document it all on a thread now nearing 3,000 posts.

FR was more activist than the Pubbies who stayed in the House. Those Pubbies gave up at 5:00, just 30 minutes after Nancy's deadline for them to get out of her House.

Yeh, the Pubbies really were revolting.
