Never happen. The black vote has gone about 90% Democrat for the last few elections. This time, with a black democrat at the top of the ticket, I’d bet it goes 98%.
Any time a white person criticizes any aspect of a black person, it is racist. Got that?
John McCain could belch and 22% of the country would say it was racist.
It was a great advertisement, and it puts McCain smack dab in the middle of "what's happenin' now". Makes Obama look entirely metrosexual, or maybe even look like a "show" eunich!

What about all the newly registered voters? This is re: CA, but every state has record numbers of newly registered Dem voters.
Yesterday’s figures show Democrats now are 43.75% of registrants and Republicans have dropped to 32.53%, an 11.2% advantage. There are now 7,053,860 Democrats compared with 6,518,631 four years ago. Republicans have dropped from 5,364,832 four years ago to 5,244,394. (5-31-08)

Wonder if there are any websites which show all percentages of new registrations across the nation? And if McCain wins, it’s still important that he wins both the electoral and majority votes.
In the end, it’s all about GOTV.
I have a girlfriend who complimented a black girl who worked with her about a gold necklace she was wearing. My friend said something along the lines of “that’s gorgeous against your skin and hair”.
She was called on it as the women hearing her comment [all blacks] felt she was racist since she mentioned skin and hair. She was told “you NEVER bring up those things to a black woman”.
Funny as my friend is a huge Liberal.
