Obama is counting on Biden to raise McCain's famous temper.

I like Biden - but you have a point. McCain and Biden both have short fuses.

Classic McCain. Thankfully the GOP is doing strategy and ads or he’d be conducting a love-fest.

"I think he's a good selection," McCain told CBS’s Katie Couric. "Joe and I have been friends for many, many years, and we know each other very well, and so I think [Obama’s] made a very wise selection.

What the hell is wrong with John?

Biden had asthma. It won’t be an issue.

<<< if Jug Ears Osama does not get elected. >>>>

Obama reminds me more of Curious George !!

The resemblance is striking if you look at the
silhouettes of those two.

‘He will be RINO to the core’

At what point is a baby entitled to human rights?
McCain: At the moment of conception.

OK, I’ll be the first person in the whole country to bring it up. Make sure I get credit when it finally becomes a campaign issue. Biden has a draft dodger problem.

Hate to break it to you, oldbill....It's already been mentioned in another thread.....being that they made such a big deal about Cheney

the difference is that when Biden has a temper, he says really stupid things.

Biden has a draft dodger problem.

Joe Biden has more than a draft dodger problem.

Biden had brain surgery twice. The Obama campaign claims he was properly vetted and that they reviewed his medical records. Did anyone who knew what he was doing examine Biden's medical records in detail? I read he was out of the Senate for an extended recovery period of some seven months, which sounds like he had more than just a headache after the surgery. Has he had a battery of neuropsychological tests, and what were the results?

We can laugh and say that Biden is a rolling verbal gaff machine, but these kinds of statements are not normal in a successful politician.

They can stay at their work place if need be..

His campaign has already attacked Biden. This is just smart politics. Keep the dirt off your own wands as much as possible.

Normally, repaired aneurysm patients have regularly scheduled scans from that point on.

One tale-tell outward sign of damage from a leak is eyelid-drooping on one eye.

Biden came out in such an ugly way about McCain. McCain will be able to contrast the praise that Biden gave him in the primaries, and the ugly rhetoric that he's already begun using. He'll look just like Obama. We'll now have Biden’s bus, lol.

I agree totally with McCain.

I laughed when I saw Obama picked Biden.

I think Obama picked the best person possible...
For McCain to win the presidency

That would make an awesome campaign commercial.

For Obama.

Yes, but does recovery from uncomplicated aneurysm surgery normally take half a year?

After recovery, do patients they normally refer to a black person as an "articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy" or think that "You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent"? Do they refer to the Democrat presidential candidate "Barack America" or a tell questioners that "I think I have a much higher IQ than you do"?

Eveyone makes verbal slips but this many? I frequently hear these kinds of things from octogenarian relatives. The parts of the brain that usually inhibit such utterances apparently aren't functioning. You've heard similar gaffes from Sen. Ted Kennedy who has a brain tumor. You hear them from Sen. Robert Byrd, age 90.

But Biden is only 65, not 90.
