Casey Anthony has made no effort to help California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla find her missing daughter Caylee Marie, he told the Orlando Sentinel on Wednesday. "She has not communicated with us at all," Padilla said. "She has no interest in communicating with us." Padilla, whose nephew posted Anthony's bail last week, said if he knew what he knew today about the case, and that the 22-year-old wouldn't cooperate with him, he probably would not have helped get her out of jail. Padilla said he still thinks Caylee is alive and that Anthony handed her off to someone. But he does not believe the toddler was dropped off with a baby-sitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, which is what Anthony has told detectives. "We don't believe [Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez] exists," Padilla said. "[Anthony's] got an invisible friend that's called Zenaida," he said. "She's got a world that she lives in that's apart from ours." Padilla said he is using Anthony's cell phone records as part of his own investigation and has spoken to some of her friends.

Casey Anthony is 22 years old. She likes to drink and party and have sex with random men she meets.
She never wanted to have a kid in the first place, and her mother had to talk her into not giving the little girl up for adoption.
Kids, especially two year olds, cry and complain a lot and have to be looked after constantly. That really cuts into your party time. Plus, the men you pick up in bars are not too jazzed about dating women with kids and aren't too understanding about calling you back when you leave the party early to pick up your kid.
Caylee was an enormous pain in the butt for Casey and was totally ruining her desired lifestyle. An enraged, hungover and resentful "mom", confronted at two in the morning by a screaming toddler could likely form the conclusion in her mind that if she just shut this toddler up for good and all, she'd have her life back.

the child was “holding her back” from a fine lifestyle in the “Champagne Lounge” rooms of the VIP clubs and bars.
There are people like her, both male and female, that step beyond the bounds of civilization.
Motivation, in the sense of a something that could be understood by you and I in a rational and moral manner, does not surface in many of these cases.
I would. Her affect tells us that she is absolutely capable of it. And if she was just covering up an accident, her lawyer would have advised her to come clean and deal.

Just because someone comes off as a nut does not mean they aren’t very cunning.
She is probably lying to her lawyer as well. Something you should never do.......

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the Anthony home! Do you wonder what the conversations are like at dinner? Or hey,. maybe they all just play like everything normal and there never was a Caylee! If I were Casey’s mom I would put a strangle hold on that cold b—— until she spilled the beans. They should personally haul her butt back to jail and let her rot there and when trial time comes I would testify against her with everything I had.
