Oh, I just can’t wait to see and hear all the affirmative action liberals swooning over “how far America has come” and how this is a wonderful turning point in our country’s existence that they thought they’d never see in their lifetimes.
Oh wait, she’s a conservative so all that won’t happen.

Get ready for liberals to plaster Palin’s Miss Alaska swimsuit pictures all over the internet to try to disqualify her as a “bimbo”. This will backfire and unleash more anger from the feminists.

13 months ago: This photo, released by the Alaska governor's office, shows Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin talking to Sgt. Dewey Green, of Nome, Alaska, during her visit with soldiers of the Alaska National Guard's 3rd Battalion 297th Infantry Regiment at the Life Support Area in Kuwait Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Palin is visiting the soldiers to learn about their mission in Kuwait.

from a blog:
Hillary Supporters for McCain
Later today I'll be writing more on my national blog(s) about how Republican candidates in PA and elsewhere can exploit Democratic Congressman Paul Kanjorski's statement (scroll down) that Democrats lied to voters to get elected in 2006. On my Pennsylvania blog (http://pennsylvaniaforjohnmccain.blogspot.com) blog, I have a column about what political tactics work and which don't. I'm continuing to write there about the crucial issue of fund-raising. I hope you'll forward it to candidates in your own states. There are some surprises. Thanks for visiting. If you like this site, tell your friends about it. :-)

Alaska teacher-of-the-year Jan Boucher, along with Gov. Sarah Palin and her youngest daughter, Piper (then 6, I believe) painting a mural in a Native Alaskan village. When it came time to go home to Juneau, Piper announced she thought she would stay.
Sarah and Todd Palin with three daughters. I love Piper's (age 7 now) "Hollywood Smile." In Alaska, Todd is known as "The First Dude." (Think "Northern Exposure") Son Track is in the U.S. Army Infantry. Baby "Trig" apparently was non-existent at the time. When Trig was born, Sarah's press release began, "God has blessed us . . . ." I hope God blesses US (and U.S.) by having John McCain name her his running mate. Sarah, my faraway friend, we're trying! (When Sarah announced on TV that she was having a fifth child, Piper announced: "I'm going to be a BIG SISTER." Piper, I bet you'll be a great one.
If Hillary Clinton is not to be the first female President, there's a good chance that Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, mother of five, including a U.S. Army infantryman, will be the first woman to win the presidency. If that happens in 2020, well, Sarah will be only 56 years old. I wrote recently on the RudySupportersforMcCain Group about the pressing need for McCain to choose a woman running mate -- specifically, Sarah.

McCain is a bit of an unguided missile, and I don’t like all of his positions on the issues. However, he has run and unexpectedly clever campagin, and I will be shocked if he doesn’t end up whipping OsamaObama.
I’m also still trying to form an opinion of this pick for VP. She’s obviously got a lot of pluses, her experience is thin, and that concerns me. I hope it’s not a fatal flaw.

I agree her resume is thin, but so is obamanations... she seems strong on ethics, standing up to stevens and some others in her own party. I dont know how she will do against Bidet but i bet she holds her own. now if McDufus can at least hold his own in the debates he should win easily.. for some reason i think that format works better for bo... but time will tell.

Governors have far more experience than Senators in getting things done. Rick Perry of Texas was a large mover in the aftermath of Katrina. Texas fed and housed 400,000 refugees, over 2400 organizations in Houston alone were involved in that effort.
In otherwords, Sarah has more experience than any of the other candidates.

Holy cow...that entire thread was thunderously pro-McCain/Palin, with only one extremely lukewarm "I dunno, folks, do you really think...?"
From the way things appear today, McCain wins the election. The choice of Palin will most certainly galvanize the conservative core (which has pretty much decided the last two elections), and gained a hefty number of Clinton supporters to boot.
As a conservative, a woman, a wife and mother, I must admit...I love being pandered to!!!!
