Wasn't it one of Obama's spiritual fore-fathers (Josef Goebbels I think) who coined the axiom, "Tell the truth long enough and it becomes the truth."?
That has been the Liberal modus operandi for decades.
Leave it to Sowell for the most succinct, pithy description of Obama. This needs to be made into a bumper sticker.
Sowell nails it again. I like that he isn’t afraid to take shots at one of liberalisms sacred cows, FDR. I also got a new tag line, courtesy of Mr. Sowell
Fixed.
Yes, he coined that in his “Random Thoughts” column the first of this week. Looks like he wants to make it stick.
I really...really...really..like this guy !!
The man is a bastion of truth and respect for clarity in the murky world of politics. If anyone deserves respect for thinking about the common good, he should have a shrine erected in his honor for truth and honesty in thinking.
Too bad for the Democrats that they do not understand or appreciate truth and honesty, because they will never achieve greatness without it.
I don’t doubt at all that Josef Goebbels was one of his fore-fathers.
Yes, he’s taken shots a FDR and his New Deal in other columns, he’s no fan of either.
“Tell a LIE long enough and it becomes truth...”
Stupid me. Thanks for the assist.
It is the audacity of a dope.
Amen, bro.
The man gets it. Dr. Sowell is a brilliant man.
I read this about 20 minutes ago when I saw it posted on the TownHall RSS feed. Cheers
Or Dr. Sowell, as he is more commonly known.
Bump
Yes it was Goebbels, but it was the Clinton administration that brought it to its highest rate of use. Example, after a pizza part in the White House, the creative lies of Sydney Blumenthal and the rest of the liars roundtable concocted the reference that the Clinton administration had created 90 million jobs, obviously a huge lie that the MSM never questioned...because if it did, they would have found the 90 million figure on one of the slips of paper pulled from a hat the night before.
Thanks for the ping, I can’t agree more with Sowell. You never know these days what to expect next. Just when things look the most grim, and you can’t imagine how it can be resolved, some simple twist of fate, changes the dynamics of everything...this is great. I never would have thought of such a solution......
