What liberals call "BASHING" is a disagreement with their left wing policies.

Hillery Clinton wants to Nationalize and Socialize all major industries, dramatically increase government dependence, and punish capitalism. Her political views are a direct threat to liberty and freedom. If you call my opposition to her Fidel Castro style of government "BASHING", then so be it. As long as she sits in a government position, I will not stop criticizing her desire to take away my freedoms for the sake of government power.

For anyone to suggest we stop speaking out against Marxists it the US government is extremely dangerous.

You’re so right, I forgot how complicit the MSM was and is in keeping Hillary down. The Clintons don’t forget this and in 2012, whoever is the president will have to contend with Hillary. If, for some horrible reason Obama wins, you can bet Hillary will go after him in the primaries.

If McCain/Palin are president and VP, I bet Hillary will make the DNC crawl on their knees to get her to run, which they will have to do.

Hillary actually released a classy congratulations to the McCain pick, too.

My last was probly more meant for you, I guess.

Be that as it is, I will not stop making fun of the liberal elite because its way much more funner than than trying to convince them with the plain truth.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I think that about sums up the relationship we have with the PUMAs.

That’s exactly what we’re talking about! Why stoop as low as DU?

I agree. So Hillary has wrinkles. So will Palin when she's Hillary's age. And God knows McCain has wrinkles.

Let’s just ignore the PUMA people and Hillary. She’s not a candidate any longer. Don’t even think about Hillary.

If you don't think that the dems. won't throw ole Joe under the bus and come back begging Bill and Hill for forgiveness then you don't know the dems. They will do anything to win this election.

“Heck Hillary tried to convince us that she had 35 years of experience. Doing what, I still don’t know. Then when Obama came along saying he wants “change”, then Hillary shifted to say that she has been making change for 35 years. Changing what, I don’t know. But that was her claim.”

You are the one in ten, “Political Junkie”. The other nine were her targets for all that rhetoric. She said it, therefore it is...Hillary wouldn’t lie./sarcasm

I agree with you, I'm not going to stoop to the levels of DU and continue to hate people like they do.

And by the way, there is a slander of Gov. Palin & the baby on here today, it actually started on DU the morning before she was even named VP pick.

They are low-life filthy people there. I think we should show that we are not on a level with them, but far above them.

I will never stop bashing that lying, disgraceful woman and her piece of crap husband (see my screen name). The damage they’ve done to our government, political discourse and our nation’s moral climate cannot really be measured.

Just for the record... I agree completely!!

. I don’t think every one of her voters is in play, but don’t tick off her voters right now. This is what I say, “I don’t agree with all of Hillary’s politics, but I do respect her, and I cannot believe how she was treated.”

That's 100% the right answer. Not every Hillary! voter is in play, but I'd say about 30% were going to break for us anyway, and another 40% may be in play. Every board I've checked in on has stories of women crying when Palin thanked Hillary for paving the way. "That's more than she ever got from Obama or Pelosi"

Eat your heart out, Messiah.

There is still some concern that Palin is an empty suit, only because they don't know anything about her yet. Once they realize that she's a fascinating person that many Americans can relate to, and assuming the Obamazombies stick to their script, we could easily pull half of Hillary's support base.

One of the things I noticed is that a lot of Hillary supporters don't really like her as much as you'd suspect, but are strongly drawn to the idea of a successful woman role model. They are open to being wooed, and they exist in vast numbers. Play nice with the PUMAs, and we'll attract millions of crossover voters.

Good point - and one thing many folks here & everywhere else don’t seem to realize, when talking about demographic groups and interest groups, etc. is that we don’t need ALL of a certain group to switch their vote en masses (which never happens). Hillary had 18 million primary voters plus untold millions of others who would have voted for her in Nov. There’s no way that all or even most of those suddenly switch to the R. ticket just because of Sarah Palin and/or they’re mad about the treatment of Hillary, etc.

We only NEED a slice of that 18++ million, maybe even 1 million, or 1/2 million, or maybe 2 million.....(most importantly, we need a few slices of them in key battleground states). A lot of people approach these discussions as “how do we get all of those 18++ millions to vote R. and that’s never going to happen — but we only need a modest percentage, some of the more moderate or independent-minded people. We don’t NEED (or want) the more rabid leftists and ultra-feminists. If we can peel off one or two million of the more moderate Hillary voters that should be plenty.

I think despite the speech that Hillary and Bill gave, they aren't going to do much to help Obama since they believe, and rightly so, that Obama stole Hillary's spot.

Lx, let me ask you a question. If the PUMAs are POed at Obama for stealing Hillary's 2008 spot how POed do you think they are at McCain for stealing her 2012 spot? They don't know it yet but the 2008 election for BO and B2 and the 2012 election for Hillary ended when McCain picked Palin.

I want to know how many agree or disagree with this strategery??

I'd say we "be ourselves". FReepers have always supported a strong conservative candidate. So here comes a woman who's shear personal excellence exudes all of the traits we prize so highly in a leader. I'm not going to tiptoe around just please a group of people who may or may not share my core values. I'm going to celebrate an excellent choice for Veep, woman or not.

Conservatives aren't about White, Black, Latino, male or female. We are about personal excellence and conservative values. Sarah Palin embodies all of that for many of us. If she so happens to embody the hopes of other interest, they can come and join the celebration...

Exactly, I've read a few of the sites and these are not irrational people like the ones at DU, they are women who want respect for women in politics, but they absolutely do NOT LIKE PELOSI & HER KIND!

Could many of the Hillary supports that would change votes to McCain Palin be voters that don’t have strong enough political options on other subjects to sway the fact that they want a woman elected. Much like some of those voting for Obama because he is black.

Good post - I was writing my #53 and didn’t see yours. Only thing I would add is that I don’t think my #53 really conflicts with your post — we might peel away many more millions of Hillary supporters, and I don’t rule that out, but in a close election like the last two, even more modest numbers would be critical. That’s why I say if we can even peel off 1/2 million or 1 million or 2 million disillusioned Hillary supporters, that can be critical in a close election.

But I don’t disagree with you that the potential is there to win over many millions more in the next 9 weeks!
