Who is that idiot saying those things?

The woman has between an 80-90% approval rating with the citizens of Alaska.

We just heard the DNC/NPR talking points from Juan.

Dems are the real bigots in our country.

Juan said the spectacle was there for Obama’s speech, but said the speech was just OK. Juan actually bashed Obama’s ‘Osama cave’ comment. And said the speech was too vague.

What would you expect from Wisconsin? Backward, cruel and full of ignorants.

Now take it easy on those of us in the Badger State. Sure, our governor is a liberal as is his lt. governor, but we ignore them like you do. There are a lot of great Wisconsinites who wholeheardedly support Conservative ideals so let's not pick on states. Okay?

actually Nagin is offering the same help he offered last time.

Essentially THIS TIME Nagin is admiting he can do nothing to help.

The evacuation and emergency managment is all on the state level. (somethng that was absent last time)

The only real difference this time is that he is giving police “goon squad” authority for the 10% who ride out the storm.

Mara Liasson, yet another A-hole from New York. The so called New York “elite” are scared by Palin.

Mara made a snotty comment about the swing state of Alaska being crossed off the list. But did acknowledge that both sides are now seeking the reform label.

There are also 7000 National Guardsmen activated. That was the worst problem with Blanco, when she wouldn’t call the Guard or give President Bush permission to use Federal Troops. She was taking advice from Clinton’s head of FEMA, and they were gambling the lives of NOLAers for political purposes.

MSNBC=>avoid that Lady Republican VP for the next 60 some days is going to be the template, they’ve talked for 50 minutes about Gustav, even giving routes to get out of New Orleans, now Mike Taibbi at RNC convention in St Paul just talking about Gustav, next interruptions to oil production, bad for them, Good for Americans! We like fiscal conservatives!

Guys, there is a report somewhere about Biden meeting with his foreign relations committee after 9/11 where he is just flailing around and he admits it and then comes up with the idea of sending a huge check to Iran!!!!

I can’t remember where I saw this, but I think it is huge. He’s supposed to have all of this “experience” and he didn’t have a clue what to do and the only idea he came up with was ridiculous.

I would bet the farm that Palin would not be flailing around like that.

Kristol accurately said that McCain went all in with the Palin pick. Brit said the last think he expected from the GOP VP pick that it would be significant, and boy was he wrong.

I really do like the telethon idea :)

That would compete with the Jerry Lewis marathon, which usually happens over Labor Day weekend. It would make John McCain look young in comparison, though.

she is a talk show hostess who is saying Palin is a liberal republican. (?!)

She is being called a “gun toten’ hockey mom” as a perjorative. IDIOTS, that is high praise.

If Sarah Palin was a Democrat and was chosen as the VP pick by Barrack Hussein Obama, Juan Williams would be doing cartwheels proclaiming what a great pick she was. When Juan speaks, simply feel sorry for him.

On the panel, Sam Donaldson is ready to punch out Cokie Roberts for talking positively about Palin.

$$$$$

An example of the value of this thread!!! I will watch this show just to see Cokie say some positive things about a woman politician. Go Cokie!

Nice report, FT. I would add one small detail.

...Wooten is one bad, bad, very bad dude. He tazered his stepson with his police issued tazer gun,...

I think it's helpful to remember the stepson was eleven. (I read one report that said ten, but most say eleven.)
