There was a time in Alaska that you couldn't put a shovel in the ground without digging up gold. Now, poke a hole in it and you get oil. So far every attack on Palin hasn't brought anything but her good worth as a person and excellence as a public servant. The shots liberals have taken have all ricocheted back much to their harm.
I have no doubt that the attacks will increase but, having no material to work with, they will all be substantially vacant. What the Dems will show to the voters is a party that lacks substance in their candidates and character in their conduct. Their rage will work against them.
In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy watching them essentially slapping a porcupine. I hope it continues to hurt.

Isn’t it humorous that Palin IS everything the Dems PRETEND TO BE. Obama doesn’t miss an opportunity to take his sneakers and camera crew to the gym for a basketball photo-op, Palin played on the state championship basketball team, Hillary spoke at a campaign stop about how she loved to go duck hunting, Palin hunted a grizzly and has the hide in her office, Palin has worked an Alaskan fishing boat, Obama has watched Deadliest Catch, the Dems will imply that because Palin was a runner up for Miss Alaska she must be the most vain VP candidate ever, until we look at Biden’s hair plugs, Palin speaks without a teleprompter, Biden needs to plagiarize nearly every important speech he gives. This is gonna be fun.
The only place I could find one was at the Alaska state government website, and it appears that either the servers have crashed under the load, or they took down the page to alleviate the massive traffic that must have been headed there.
Feel free to add your thoughts to the “Dear Governor Palin:” thread on FR or the post of the same name at my weblog. I’m kind of sure that someone will point it out to an assistant to an assistant to one of her advisors...whether she’s got time to read one little blog post, well, she’s got a lot on her plate...but there’s always hope.

The more they trash her, the worse they come off looking— even to a good number of their supporters, at least those who haven’t drunk a coolerful of the KoolAid- (ref: PUMAs)

He sounds like some police officers who get too big for their britches, and do become dangerous bullies. It was his boss who fired him, and Sarah Palin didn't have anything to do with that decision.

The difficulty for us conservatives is that we’re not very imaginative. We’re unable to fathom the depths of the evil of liberals.
It’s like we’re tossing a coin into the well of liberal evil, and waiting for it to hit the bottom to tell us how deep the evil goes. But no matter how long we wait, the coin never hits the bottom. We never hear it. The evil of the liberals is bottomless. But that is beyond our imagination, and we can scarcely believe it.

I went to the “contact us” link on the McCain site, and left a note supporting Gov. Palin, her family and the McCain campaign!
I plan to keep it up, as long as the Dem’s do...

Without our confrontation we can only hope that it’s continual self-exposure will lead to it’s destruction or at least bridling.
