Wednesday, September 03, 2008

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Barack Obama attracting 48% of the vote while John McCain earns 43%. When "leaners" are included, it’s Obama 50%, McCain 45%.

Both Obama and McCain lost a little ground in the polls after announcing their Vice President running mate. Obama lost three points after the Joe Biden selection was announced and McCain lost two points after Palin was announced.

Obama then enjoyed a fairly typical bounce from his convention and it remains to be seen how what kind of bounce McCain will get.

Fifty-two percent (52%) of Americans have a favorable opinion of Palin.

This should include all of the Monday negative main stream media blitz on Palin but no GOP convention impact yet (I think).

The leftist Obama hate candle towards Gov. Palin that burns at both ends, burns half as long.

Not bad, it appears that Monday was a very bad polling day for McCain, it went to Obama by 10 pts or oven more.

Tuesday was not that bad, McCain trailing by 3-4 pts in a daily sample. If we get any convention bounce, we should get within 2 by the middle of next week, I hope.

Unfortunately, that’s all it takes to win...:( McCAIN has to do better, much better and I’m beginning to think that we are going to need the LORD to help us break through the evil schemes and cheating that will take place. We are now getting a small taste of what Sept-election time will bring. We need a prayer chain of fasting and seeking for God’s power for a victory. THIS IS A BATTLE! Make no mistake, OsAMA has a better chance of winning and that scares the hell out me to the point that I’m willing to fast, prayer and work hard to give McCain a victory!

Just announced on Fox, McCain camp is fighting back, they are PISSED! New ad will be out at noon, Lieberman press conference today as well as to the leftist attack on Palin as a nazi sympathsizer (because once she wore a Pat Buchanan campaign button) Things are heating up plus Rudy speaks tonight and he is also pissed.

Yes Rose we must continue to pray for our country and McCain and Gov. Palin and their families.

Its a shock to even think Obama could get 10% of americans to buy in to his facade.

It’s not just a question of how many voters Obama has. He may have lots of voters, but they may be concentrated in certain states. Look at Kerry. He came reasonably close to Bush on the popular vote, but a picture of the electoral map was virtually all red.

I think I have to agree with you. This is Obama's campaign to lose, and up to the Palin announcement, McCain was starting to catch up. Now, it appears that McCain has lost about 2-4 weeks just trying to counter all of the attacks on Palin.

just heard this on radio

If you were lying on an operating table waiting for open heart surgery, and you had a choice between a young out of Med School Doctor or an older Doctor who performed Open Heart surgery 1000’s of time, who would you pick...?

Great analogy

...two days of the Labor Day weekend (+3 -1 = +2), Obama's Greek Temple convention "bounce" (+3), Palin bounce minus Palin media smears +0. +5 is about right.

Everyone should be watching Palin's speech tonight, when the general voting public sees she's not really an Alaskan redneck who looks and speaks like an extra out of "Deliverance" McCain should get a bounce from that. At most they saw her brief speech on Saturday. Really need to wait for the polling released Thursday and Friday the 11th and 12th to see.
