I'm with you on this one. I do point out some of the conflict of interest when it comes up in discussions with folks who are unaware, but I don't want to 'go after' anyone. I just think going on the offense, and basically giving them some of what they have been dishing out would not be our best move. Let them continue in their role of the aggressive bullies. Most people don't follow this stuff the way we do and if we go on the attack folks will probably think both sides make a pretty good pair.

Emotionally I am totally with you guys because I am angry at what the media is trying to do to Sarah Palin. However, I think we are starting to win. The country is seeing who the decent people are and who the vicious slimers are. So, I think we would be far wiser not to sink to their level and diminish our selves by publishing such slime. On the other hand, if they succede in bringin Sarah Palin down with their slime. Then count me in and we will make them pay one by one.

Nothing you post on your site will be picked up by the mainstream media, which is, after all, heavily biased towards the Democrats.
You will, however, forfeit the moral high ground and lose all ability to credibly object when the media picks up lies and scurrilous rumors from sites like DailyKos.

I did have an outline and web designer all set up for this very idea. Sort of turn the tables on the media and put the spotlight on them - making them feel very uncomfortable and exposed. I still have ownership of the domain name TargetTheMedia.com and would love to participate in putting something together.

We are not those kind of people. My parents taught me never to stoop to the level of the person unfairly attacking. Aggressively correcting distortions and lies is one thing but I don’t want any part of a blackmail operation.
I specifically said not to go that route.
I envision a YouTube style site that we could:
Post video of pundits predictions and gaffes
Post incriminating videos (such as public drunkenness) of media and left wing bloggers
Have a dedicated page link to each media member so that embarrassing items can be posted
Etc.
I’m for it. I’ll contribute. Campbell Brown first.

My second reaction is, will we become like they are? I say threaten to do it, but don't.
Do this with the idea of showing how liberal and in the tank for Democrats they are. Each pundit is a registered Dem, comes from Dem backgrounds, works and contributes to Dems etc.
What would be wrong with investigating rumors by spending some money on professional investigators? Become a web based Enquirer.
We need giant BILLBOARDS with their pics....saying “Democrat since (date)”.
Excellent find-the time has come for a purely right wing news outlet. None of this “fair and balanced” crap. The MSM has given up every pretense of being even handed.
