Maybe Obama is trying to follow in the footsteps of another notable
Liberal Democrat!
It’s been years ago, but I do remember some reporter talking about
how Adlai Stevenson’s Harvard Law School had been looked in a drawer...
and never released. The resonable conclusion is that he flunked.

Consulting Wikipedia, it looks like even Adlai Stevenson’s “brilliant
career” at Harvard Law is now common knowledge.

I wish Obama much luck...in following Adlai Stevenson as another
also-ran for the Presidency!!!

He then went to Harvard Law School under prodding from his father but
failed several classes and withdrew. He returned to Bloomington
where he wrote for the family newspaper, The Daily Pantagraph,
which was founded by his maternal great grandfather Jesse Fell,
who had also served as Abraham Lincoln’s campaign manager in his 1858
race for the US Senate.

Stevenson became interested in the law again a year or so after leaving
Harvard after talking to Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell
Holmes, Jr.. When he returned home to Bloomington, he decided to
finish his law degree at Northwestern University School of Law, attending
classes during the week and returning to Bloomington on the weekends to
write for the Pantagraph. Stevenson received his LL.B. law degree from
Northwestern in 1926 and passed the Illinois State Bar examination that
year.

Barry Obama was the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review---and he didn't write a single article for it! Susan Estrich was the first woman editor of the Review, and she wrote dozens of pieces.

Why is this not news? Where are his grades? Why do we know Algore's, Kerry's and Bush's but NOT Barry Obamas?

Is this true? Isn't this a big deal? How could Obama be grandfathered in to a Law Degree? Did he ever study and pass the Bar in another state? What year did he get his Law License? John Kennedy failed several times. When did Obama receive his Law License?

I think that’s true. The stakes are high enough now that the next election a Dem wins could be the last fair one. I always thought that if Hillary won, you’d see Chelsea groomed to succeed her.

Apparently some of Obama's HLS classmates have claimed that Obama didn't even put down his race on his HLS application. Of course how would they know?

BTW I read the whole article and Root sounds pathologically angry and bitter. And this jealousy and bitterness is based entirely on his own imagination since at this point he has no evidence concerning Obama's grades. It is clear that Obama would not even have had to be a perfect student to look better than Root.

Perhaps the reason he never saw Obama is that Obama was spending all his time studying to make up for his previous slacking while in high school and at Occidental.
