“We don’t know how she reacts to probing and prodding—does she know the answer to these questions?”

Her answers should be the same as McCain’s answers would be. Her job is to support the President and his agenda. So questions asked of her will be answered as McCain/Palin not just Palin. Sure in private meetings she will give her opinions to McCain, but in public, her opinion is the McCain opinion.

There may be a few exceptions (e.g. ANWR), but they will be few and will only be highlighted if McCain wants to highlight them. And that is the way it should be.

By the way Barry, good luck with getting Biden to stay on the reservation.

Good analysis. My fear is if she comes out with a list of “hands off” topics, like Obama does every single interview (to include his wife, apparently, on the View), it will be spun by the MSM as ducking. They, of course, would never admit to kid-gloving Obama...

Morning, hurricane survivor,

I give Free Republic a lot of credit today, along with the blogs and talk shows who exposed the rumors and smears so quickly. It will get worse but I believe Sarah Palin is capable of handling it. The interview where Sarah suggested Hillary does not help herself by whining says a lot about Sarah. I do not believe she will be run over by the MSM.

"The whine-athon has only just begun."

I'm not sure what channel the TV was on, because I was on the computer, didn't have the one beside me on, and so was listening to the one in the livingroom. I'd bet money that it was on ABC though.

They're trying to make it sound as though McCain is violating Obama's intellectual property rights. They EVEN asked "who owns" the word change. They would rather make this latest fight into a bogus intellectual property rights case than what it really is: McCain calling Obama out on his empty promises of "Hope and Change". That way, they hope to make McCain back away from comparing HIS vision of change to Obama's.

The comparison their seperate ideas of change is a winner for McCain because Obama never backs his promises with any proposals (except to increase taxes), while McCain does. I HOPE he doesn't back down.

Yep, I have that one too. There may be more as time goes on but it’s nice to have three sources now to get the truth out.

I disagree, let em sweat it out!

. Eventually she will go no at her own speed.

With her momentum she really does not need them. They will only spin/lie about everything that happens on any show and try and turn her momentum off. Why does she need that?

Great points, but I look at Sarah as an offensive weapon who’s ready for the big show. Her targets are DEM’s and DBM’s. She’s already inflicted wounds on both. She bypasses the media just like Reagan

She needs little prepping and to “hide” her gives credence to her “unreadiness.”

Correct in spades Roccus...she owes the media less than squat

We’re down here in hurricaneland.....ain’t so bad

Yesterday McCain and Palin were in Colorado Springs and Albuquerque.

I watched both on the internet stream.

In Colorado Springs, they appeared scripted, reading the same lines from their convention speeches.

In Albuquerque, later that evening, they seemed much more comfortable with themselves.

Palin did have notes but I didn’t see a telepromters. She would refer to her notes during the applauses.

When speaking, both Palin and McCain appeared to be ‘talking to’ the audience rather than ‘speechifying at’ them.

Their Albuquerque appearance was better than their Colorado Springs presentations. [I haven’t found a link to video of the actual Alb rally. It is a MUST SEE, if we can find the full video. blogMcCain refers to a video, but that is only the local TV news report of the rally.]

Comparing the CS and Alb appearances, I would have to say that they are only getting better with each rally.

You can bet that is shaking up Team Obama.

Exactly we have the DBM acting out as children and its very revealing.Voters seldom get to see what they are really up to now they can and it’s disgusting.

Morning AB, All....

...Palin will be on the talk show circuit soon enough.

Obama’s guy Axelrod already obsfucating Mike Wallace about Obama’s “experience” versus Palin.

The Obama people really are, I’m serious here, acting as if running for President is some kind of resume enhancement and counts as experience.

You can’t make it up and Obama gets a little help from Mort Kondrake. A man who has really gone over to the dark side.

Thank you Cedric; I had had only one cup of coffee when I posted and my brain wasn’t functioning. Yes, Sally Quinn has decided it’s maybe time to be fair and it might be a good interview. I’m not familiar with Quinn’s work, but I think it would be a bold step by the McCain campaign.

Wait, I'm confused.

In 1996 the DBM watched {no, cheered} in thrilled amazement, as Bill Clinton climbed out of the abyss of political disaster by stealing a host of Republican issues.
