Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA:
Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

I'm not sure what you are tryin to imply.
I was referring to Becktel's use of lipstick and pig during a discussion of VP nominee Sarah Palin. He was the 2nd commentator who used those terms on FoxNews yesterday morning.

This will not only offend women. It cuts much deeper than that.
The smelly fish term is a direct comment about a womans vagina. That is what it is. I am sure they will try to spin that to hell and back. But that is what it is.

Even if he didn't mean to call Palin a pig, his meaning is so easily construed as such, that it's a stupid thing to say. Sort of like his "my Muslim faith" gaffe.
Of course, except for the constant slips of the tongue, he's quite eloquent, don't you know. A great speaker, they say.
