I am not sure if intrading is trading on the Proposition that Obama drops Biden for Clinton or Sibelius, but what would be the political consequences if he were to attempt to do it?
Could he actually do it and get away with it?

Biden will withdraw, citing family issues or a medical condition. Biden is no asset to Obambi, and Obambi must now realize it by now. Obambi is now running againt Sarah Palin, the Republican VEEP candidate, and not against McCain, which diminishes Obambi in the average voter’s eyes (the prez candidate from a major party finds it necessary to run against the VP candidate of the rival party? That is fatal to the prez candidate).
The Dims see their hopes being dashed, and the Dim elite will be putting all kinds of pressure on the ticket to make some changes, and you know the change being demanded won’t be directed towards Obambi. The Dim ticket has no choice: Biden has to go and either Hildabeast or Sibelius will be brought on board.
No. Biden is on the ballot in all 50 states and there are laws regarding that.
The Dems did this when Lautenberg was tanking in the polls for NJ Governor, and barely got away with it (Dem-friendly court).
There would be lawsuits in all 50 states, if not directly by third parties having difficulty legitimately getting on state ballots.

I’m surprised that Obama chose Biden in the first place. He brought no one to Obama’s campaign that wasn’t already for him. It wasn’t a terrible choice, but it was a very uninspired one. I wonder how many of Obama’s supporters yawned when they got the news?

The word is that Caroline Kennedy was pushing for Biden, and Obambi did not want to go against the Dim royal family. Since Caroline Kennedy was in charge of the Veep search, it speaks volumes about her lack of depth.

Even then, he'd have a tough time convincing the public that the reason was genuine. It'd likely come across as too suspicious and a *me, too* kind of thing. I think that too many people would suspect him of lying from the start.
I think that the only way he could maybe convince people that it was genuine is if he DIDN'T pick a woman.
