Lipstick on a Pig -- the Political Cartoon too hot for Investor's Business Daily?

Earlier today, Investor's Business Daily posted a cartoon from their resident genius, Michael Ramirez, which perfectly captured the essence of Barry Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment. Copyright restrictions do not allow us to display the toon on Free Republic, but as of the time of this writing, you can view the Mr. Ramirez' artwork HERE.
Later this afternoon, IBD deleted the cartoon from their website, and as you can see HERE, it is no longer listed in Ramirez' archives.
Obviously, the heat's on IBD from the mavens of political correctness.
In my opinion, the only remaining questions now are whether they will pull the above link and when.

I saw it earlier today and don’t understand the deletion. OK, NObomba has pig ears, er, big ears, and wears lipstick. So what?

IBD did the right thing, this cartoon is too stupid and is not worth to be published by one of the best publications in the country. Ramirez is always good but he screwed up badly on this one.

“Lipstick on a ‘pig’”? No, that's lipstick on a Marxist.

What was IBD so worried about? Offending libs or Islamists? Pretty gutless in either case.

Yeah, I agree.
Ramirez is consistently great.
The IBD is consistently excellent.
Neither of them needed to 'push the envelope' with this cartoon. Not all that funny, and it almost descends into 'Toles territory' -- which is a gutter you want to stay out of...

Wow! That was odd, there wasn't anything profane, or out of place in your post 10... At most it was an opinion that some folks might disagree with (although I have to agree with what you wrote) but it was just an opinion.
I should have copied it before my post (I usually do that, to save people from having to flip back - but I didn't do it this time... Oh well, my post will just be dangling in the wind with some vague reference to deleted remarks).

Democrats on Capitol Hill fear Obama fallout
By Andrew Ward in Washington

Democratic jitters about the US presidential race have spread to Capitol Hill, where some members of Congress are worried that Barack Obamas faltering campaign could hurt their chances of re-election.
Party leaders have been hoping to strengthen Democratic control of the House and Senate in November, but John McCains jump in the polls has stoked fears of a Republican resurgence............

Would have been better without the caption.
I guess it needs to be added to the banned animal list:
no monkey business referrals
no chickens to roost comments
no pigs with lipstick analogies
I’m guessing dogs.... are next, which reminds of the
Standard White Poodle / John F. Kerry
At least Kerry was fair game, Obama’s skin has obviously been designated too delicate and holy to blemish
