THE high-heeled, moose-hunting governor of Alaska has sent Barack Obamas campaign into a state of panic as support for the Democratic presidential candidate haemorrhages in the battleground states he must win to reach the White House.
Sarah Palin, 44, continued to scythe through Obamas support among women by taunting the first potential black president for declining to choose Hillary Clinton as his running mate and by declaring that questions about juggling work and family were kind of irrelevant in the modern age.
The mother of five, who has been called Xena, the warrior princess, said in a television interview: I think hes regretting not picking [Clinton] now, I do. What determination and grit and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way - she handled those well, Palin said.
She presented herself as a champion of no-fuss, no-non-sense working mothers. Of course you can be the vice-presi-dent and you can raise a family, she said brightly. Im the governor and Im raising a family.
...The Democrat cheers that greeted the selection of veteran senator Joe Biden, 65, the chairman of the Senate foreign relations committee, as Obamas running mate have died away.

If we had picked Hillary Clinton, we would have saved ourselves three months of anguish over the summer, the official said. If we had spent the time unifying the party, wed be in a totally different place. Im not sure McCain would have picked Palin if Hillary was VP. panic and second-guessing, haha

That was a brilliant move. Now if Obama does try to switch from Biden to Clinton, it will look like he’s following Palin’s suggestion.
Palin will look like the leader, while Obama a follower. Nice.

From an article posted earlier.
A senior Democratic strategist, who has played a prominent role in two presidential campaigns, told The Sunday Telegraph: "These guys are on the verge of blowing the greatest gimme in the history of American politics. They're the most arrogant bunch Ive ever seen. They won't accept that they are losing and they won't listen."
We know.

If you have a gimme and you are rats you may as well run the most rabid marxist, racist you can. And, run the dope Biden to signal they is plenty of room for all Dem snots at the trough for the old money crowd.

All you have to do is go to DU and you realize they are not dealing in reality (Obama voters that is.) If his supporters are any indication of the arrogance in his campaign, then there really is a problem. I imagine it’s frustrating the Dem insiders to no end. I’ve even noticed liberal journalists trying to give Obama pointers how to get back on his game.

The Sunday Times, UK: ..... "the Illinois senator hit back with a negative advertisement mocking his 72-year-old rival for being out of date and out of touch with computer technology, including e-mail. ... It backfired when it emerged that McCain was unable to type because he was injured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam." Copy the following link (http://www.forbes.com/asap/2000/0529/053_print.html) and quote from Forbes.com.

Paste it all over the Internet.
Forbes.com .... May 29, 2000 ...... "In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate's savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. "She's a whiz on the keyboard, and I'm so laborious," McCain admits."

Mark Penn, Clintons former chief strategist, said: The media is doing the kinds of stories on Palin that theyre not doing on the other candidates. People are going to conclude that theyre giving her a rougher time. This is an election in which the voters are going to decide for themselves. These guys are quick.

I really think there’s more and more of a chance of this happening. Hillary on the ticket gives Obama a much better chance at the Whitehouse then Hillary steps in after 8 years max. If McCain/Palin wins Hillary may have to wait 16 years!!!
