Holistic-health hawker Deepak Chopra has joined far-left Sarah Palin bashers, writing that Palins conservative views reverse 40 years of feminist progress, and admonishes voters not to elect another Ronald Reagan.
Chopra, in an article entitled, Obama and the Palin Effect in The Huffington Post, says that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin appeals to base emotions, exhorting people to obey their worst impulses.
He writes that Palin lurks as an anti-Obama shadow and says she appeals to the part of the psyche that counters virtues with negative qualities, such as fear, anger, violence, selfishness, and suspicion of the other.

Boy she has a great smile, doesn’t she?
Likability goes a long ways in politics. So does coming across as having integrity and honesty. Plus the positions she takes on fiscal issues are common-sense and resonate with people.

...ye shall know them by their works.
Con men like Chopra are obviously just taking people’s money, with no benefit whatsoever to anyone but himself.
What is amazing is how PBS gives these type guys FREE one hour infomercials all the time, especially during “pledge breaks”.
Their list of presenters can found on www.quackwatch.org.
Nearly all of them are crooks of the highest order.

People who are genuine smile with their eyes. Notice the smile of a liar or any typical politician on the road. They smile but their eyes are not sparkling. Sarah Palin’s eyes sparkle when she smiles because she genuinely means it.

Deepak would be good to follow his own advice-
If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up.
Whatever relationships you have attracted in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution.
The less you open your heart to others, the more your heart suffers
If the players where reversed, Deepak would ask the person making the statement to open their heart and think about why the other person is here and why their side is beneficial. What does the other side bring to your personal evolution. Of course, asking Deepak to follow his own beliefs is a joke. As I mentioned to a friend who worships Deepak's philosophy, he is just a man spouting the same retreaded philosophy you can find in ten thousand self help books. Look if he lives it. This is perfect example that he doesn't.
