Is just what I feared, the bank mess and Charles Gibsons interview of Palin are hurting McCain? Or is this a skewed poll by the NYT?

It’s the NYTimes...not even worth commenting on.

The MSM/Drivebys are mounting an effort to convince people McCain is finished and he's a clone of the hated Bush!

New York Times. Of course John McCain is less likely to bring change, but don’t assume that 51% or more of the people really want change. Especially Obama’s kind of change.

McCain saying, himself, that the economies’ “fundamentals” are “strong” was a blunder. His later excuse he was talking about workers was weak.

I thought Palin did fine in the interview. I seriously don’t know why people think she did bad. MSM spin?

It’s the Rats trying to get McCain to throw President Bush under the bus, all to make themselves feel “validated.”

They couldn’t “get” Bush themselves, so they are hoping to see McCain “get” him.

At least this has been my opinion for a while now.

If th nYT and other Nationalist Media outlets had been doing their jobs and acurately reporting news, ot manufacturing it, Bush would be an asset.

Of course now that they have the mortgage and economic failures, they will continue their dishonest reporting and givethe real culprits a pass, while castigating Bush over what he tried to forestall long ago.

In the meantime, Middle Class America foots the bill, again.

Palin did a good job with Gibson. Obama could only dream of doing that well. He is a stammering fool and he will be crushed in the McCain debates. With no teleprompter and millions watching, Obama will be exposed for the empty suit that he is.

No one pays attention to the NYT.

I just saw a poll that shows ambidextrous men are shifting to McCain in record numbers. This has the Obama camp concerned because that bloc was considered safe.

I just don't think polls mean that much today. The more obscure the poll, the more it reminds me of reading tea leaves.

If Obama's internal nubers guys showed him in control of the numbers and momentum, you simply wouldn't see the panic among the Democrat ilk as you see these days.

Sounds like apush poll to me. “McCain is like a “typical Republican”...

What sort of option is that? It’s begging for some of the repondents to answer like this.

Puhleeze . . . If the NYTimes and the rest of the MSM are using their contrived polling data to convince spineless Republicans to distance themselves from President Bush, then these very same spineless Republicans better do the exact opposite!
-
-

HISTORICAL CONTEXT FOR THE CURRENT FINANCIAL CRISIS . . .

THE ANCHORESS: BE SURE TO READ ABOUT HOW FIVE YEARS AGO PRESIDENT BUSH TRIED TO PROPOSE AN OVERHAUL OF THE HOUSING FINANCE INDUSTRY, INCLUDING A PLAN TO OVERSEE FAN & FRED, BUT ACCORDING TO THE NY TIMES, THE DEMOCRATS - LED BY BARNEY FRANK - BLOCKED IT.

“These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis,” said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ”The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”

Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.

”I don’t see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,” Mr. Watt said.”

AND DON’T FORGET THE SECRET SPECIAL: TWO YEARS AGO JOHN MCCAIN TRIED TO RIGHT FRED & FAN: BLOCKED AGAIN!

SO SHOPPERS, KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN SOCIAL SECURITY TANKS, BECAUSE PRESIDENT BUSH & JOHN MCCAIN WANTED TO RE-STRUCTURE SOCIAL SECURITY BUT THE DEMOCRATS BLOCKED THAT, TOO, WITH THE HELP OF THE GOP. JUST LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT IS AHEAD.

Politics is not for the weak-kneed or the faint of heart.

Perhaps you should find another hobby, like stamp collecting, to occupy your time until Nov. 5th.

This story might be true. If there was no link, McCain would be up 15 points.

I find it so fascinating that the media attempts to shape public opinion through headlines. All their Palin smear attempts failed. So they shifted to something else. Now they’re shifting again with the McCain=Bush shtick. won’t work. And they have the Obama rising in the polls nonsense going as well.
