Take The Barack Obama Test
BarackObamaTest.com ^

Posted on 09/20/2008 7:32:20 AM PDT by DogBarkTree

Does Obama really speak for you? Here's how it works: Answer each of he questions at the link. You score a point for each issue you agree with Obama and you lose a point for each issue you disagree. If you have a positive score, vote for Obama. If you have a negative score consider if his positions are what you want for America for the next 4 years.

This really is an amazing survey. It shows Obama disagrees with the American public most of the time on most of the issues. Yet he expects to be elected President??

One of the questions was, "In general, what should be more important to Americans in their daily life: Moral values or material concerns."
Obama feels it should be material concerns! So on his own site he's basically saying he's amoral. Great admission. But given his stance on partial birth murder, he is amoral so I guess this is no surprise.

I misread one question, so instead of 98% I should be 100% opposite of “The One” — and I notice he has less than 50% agreement with those who have taken the test.

I opposed him on all 51 questions, for a perfect score of 100% against Obama!

That makes my day (although I knew going in what it would be). I think I'll reward myself with another nice cup of coffee. :-)

Not sure where the “All Americans” data came from, but taken at face value, this just shows how beholden Obama is to the fringe.

This is a poorly designed survey.

For example, the question on withdrawing from Iraq cannot be answered appropriately. If, for example, in 12 months peace and liberty are established in Iraq, why would we need to keep troops there longer than 18 months? I stopped taking the quiz at that point.

I'm embarrassed...I only disagreed on 50 out of 51 questions for a 98% ranking.

**Hmmm....I also scored opposed to “The One” 96% of the time.**

Would have been 100% for me, but I misread a question. Gotta be REAL CAREFUL with these Marxist LIBS

This has very little to do with helping you determine if you should vote for Obama or not. First, it is a very biased questionaire, written in such a way to get you to agree with many points.

Secondly, and more strategically, it is a data gathering tool for the Obama campaign to help him develop specific plans for his high level vision that he so eloquently articulates, but hasn't a clue how to implement.

14. Barack Obama recently said, 'The first thing I'd do as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act,' This legislation would wipe out all state and federal abortion restrictions including the partial-birth abortion ban. Do you agree or disagree with Barack Obama's statement?

This is a bad question. I actually agree with the statement, i.e., that this is the first thing Obama would do as president. So, had I answered the question as posed, the test would have scored that as agreeing with Obama's position, though in fact I oppose it.

Disagreed w/ the Zero on 51 of 51 questions which is why even before this “test” I’ve been considering for the first time in my life volunteering for phone bank duty at my local GOP.

0bama is nothing more than a creepy Chicago Democrat thug.

I oppose BHO on 98% of the listed issues. The only issue where he and I don’t differ (and I had to think about this one) is favoring a warrant for search and seizure of a US citizen suspected of terrorist activities.

I agree with ZGuy (#2) that the website should appear more neutral. Its apparent purpose is to get pro-Obama people to understand just who and what they’re voting for if they go democRat this time, and someone who lands there and sees the pic of BHO torn in half would be turned off immediately.

Guess, I shouldn’t voter for Obama.

You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 51 of the 51 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 100% of the time.

What’s very interesting, and I didn’t expect, is that Obama is way way out of line with the majority of Americans on most of his policy positions. So why does he have even as many supporters as he does? Are these people just living in bizarro world that they don’t know what his plans are or they are just ignoring them? It’s really weird IMHO.

3. Should someone who is not a U.S. citizen, being held under suspicion of terrorism, be afforded Constitutional rights?
Yes
No
