Mccains “flub” on the economy last week is now history and we should start seeing some gains(even with all the polling bias and weekend polling lovefest)

So would one of you poll wonks explain the +3 for Obama in today’s Rasmussen poll? Pretty much all of the other polls are swinging back to McCain. And I happen to trust Rasmussen (and Battleground) more than the rest.

Anyone know who stated that "if 0bama isn't up by 10-15 points by election, he cannot be elected"?

I know it is politics like Obamas that will send us ovrer the edge and dont know why the republicans are not shouting it from the rooftops. And wha tis the matter with Obama he can hardly speak today.

If you look at just the national polls released today:

Ras: Obama +3
FD: Obama +4
Gallup: Tie
F&M: McCain +2
Battleground: McCain +1

You end up with Obama only being up 0.8% which is much tighter that the RCP average shows. Furthermore, if the polls were weighted at something closer to historical averages, McCain would almost certainly be ahead by a few points.

I don't trust the final poll in November, how can I have much faith in these random polls.

Slick Willie’s damning Obama with faint praise and saying semi-good stuff about McPalin is only just starting to set in.

Gallup says that last night was not a huge night for McCain, rather that he has started to do better over the last several days. Definitely better news than I was expecting in this one to be honest.

Gallup would say that, they wouldnt want people to think McCains quick action had populairty.

HA! I know.

I will take this one though. I have been very depressed that past few days and I just logged in here on my lunch break and this has made my day!

I can’t wait to get this election over with. I hate these polls, but I can’t stay away from them for some sick reason.

LOL. Looks like the Midnight Ride of John McCain to Washington was successful.

Obambi got an undeserved bounce when the voters blamed the GOP for the financial meltdown. Now that word is slowly leaking out that the ‘Rats were the primary culprits, Obambi’s bounce has faded. Add in McCain trumping Obambi by returning to the Senate, leaving the manchild twisting in the wind like the clueless whiner he is, and things should start to turn around.

They do need to run more ads linking Obambi to Raines, Johnson, Barney Fruit, Dodd, and Schumer, though. Then go nuke with Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Tony Rezko, and the other lowlife cretins hanging around Hussein Obambi.
