McCain has stunning comeback (Obama is not appearing presidential to enough...)

After John McCain's bold decision to suspend his campaign, he has stunningly erased a three-point lead and now is tied with Barack Obama at 46-46 in Thursday's Gallup Poll.

The poll included interviews taken on Wednesday -- when McCain said he would fly to Washington to work on the bailout bill, suspend his presidential quest and possibly not appear at Friday's scheduled debate.

Those were bold decisions, and maybe Americans appreciated them.

On the other hand, the Gallup pollsters point out that McCain has been gaining on Obama for days. And interviews on Wednesday did not show any dramatic shift to McCain simply because of his campaign-related decisions.

All in all, this has been a great week for McCain in the polls. He has gained on Obama every day, despite the fact that Americans supposedly see Obama as being a better leader when it comes to the nation's economic problems.

Obama is not appearing presidential to enough Americans in this time of financial crisis.

Isn’t the REAL story that the polls taken over the weekend were wrong?

It must be. The columnist is a radical leftist, one of Obama's many Muslim acolytes. He also says McCain has been gaining in the polls all week, which is only true of Gallup.

Obambi's problem is he looks weak and indecisive. And Americans don't respect someone who is not tough. Imagine Obambi with the likes of Putin or Ahmedinejad. These guys would have him for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No one likes someone who can't act with resolve. Say what you like about McCain, he acts the part of the leader and he comes across as decisive - in a word presidential. In Obambi, Americans see an effete liberal.

Most of these polls are total BS. Just this past weekend there were a couple of +9 for Obami and other such nonsense. I think McCain is probably up about 6 points overall when you take into account the people who will actually get out to the polls, the liberal slant of every poll out there, and other factors.

Another thing, if many people are willing to vote for Obami because of the color of his skin then I think there are many others who will not vote for him because of the color or his skin. Either way it is the wrong reason to vote for President.

John McCain has taken the art of political jujitsu to a whole new level. Sun Tzu would approve.

Obama and his team have no idea where to turn or what to do. They are so overwhelmed and off their game right now they can’t even decide what their next moves should be. And if Sarah shows up tomorrow night in Mississippi instead of John, Obama might just really have a breakdown.

Name me one economic achievement or credential that Obama has?

Nothing, NADA.....

Obama has very little attraction beyond his core of about 40%. Any votes he gets above that floor, is purely anti-republican and general unhappiness.

I am proud of McCain for the ethical leadership he has shown the last few days. Again, he demonstrates that Country First is NOT just a campaign slogan.

YEAH, BUT Obama called him first. “I called him first”, said Obama. “But, I called him first..it was my idea that we release a joint statement”.

You should ask why your professor is so obsessed with Palin. Then ask her/him to just teach the subject matter at hand because you are paying good money for an education and not political opinion.
