NEWS VIDEO - Missouri pro-Obama prosecutors will prosecute you for "lies" about Obama
kmov ^ | 9-26-08

WATCH THIS FRIGHTENING VIDEO FROM KMOV

This video should shake you to your core. Obama supporters in Missouri are blatantly announcing that law enforcement will be used to prosecute you if you are part of campaign ads that tell, in their opinion, "lies" about Barack Obama.

And we thought the Clinton machine was bad? This is frightening. When will the lies be prosecuted about Palin, McCain, and Limbaugh? The answer is, they won't. This is how a free republic is taken down. When will freerepublic be taken down?

This is what happens when you play nice.

The socialists are just getting started, it ends with firing squads and neighborhood party police.

Somebody in the GOP had better get a clue and start fighting back.

Demanding the immediate resignation of these clowns would be a good start.

I just spoke to someone at his office...she put me on speakerphone and I told her that I saw the interview and found it offensive that he wanted to limit free speech.

She said I could send him an email...told her I didn't do email and that I didn't want the Prosecuting Attorney coming after me anyway...told her that I would just work very hard to see that he is not reelected.

I live in Missouri, and three times in one evening, I was called by the Obama supporters, wanting funds. “Can’t you afford just $25.00”, they asked.

My standard reply goes something like...

If someone stapled a rabid weasel to my genitals and the only staple remover in the world belonged to a guy who would only remove staples for Obama voters, I still wouldn't vote for (or donate to) Obama.

Barak Hussein Obama is Marxist troll and he will raise our taxes as he destroys our republic (should he win the presidency, which he won’t)!

Yeeehaw!! Come and get me coppers! You’ll never take me alive!!

Bwhahahahahahahah!!

They’re public officials, but joined a specifically-Obama group to engage in these proposed prosecutions. Sounds like you could hit them back with a massive equal protection clause lawsuit.

Here are my thoughts on the subject. FR is running way slow this afternoon for some reason.

These groups of prosecutors and sheriffs are really playing Russian Roulette with their communties with this kind of B.S. and C.F. There's absoloutely no way people are going to accept this form of rule of law. This clearly is not what the founding fathers had in mind for the rule of law.

I can tell you that if our county sheriff and distict attorney pulled this kind of nonsense there would be mass protests outside the courthouse. I wonder if it has ever occured to them that this kind of stuff was tried in the 1800's and it led to civil war.

When you start to go and missuse and abuse your legal powers in this way where a candidate for president is more special than his opponent and subject to legal protection from public criticism, you are treading on very dangerously thin ice. There is simply way too much at stake in this election and to expect people to accept your way applying the rule of law in this way is downright stupid, idiotc and foolish.

It's my hope that other people who engage in the same professions as these sorry, lazy miserable good for nothing blockheads will look at this stupidity and think twice about the negative ramifications of pulling this same stunt before they go to thinking about it.

I think an economic boycott of St. Louis is in order here. There are clearly far better places to visit than this.

Regards........

Pretty radical, that Declaration of Independence. And a minority opinion among the populace at the time.

The patriots received active support from perhaps 40 to 45 percent of the white populace, and at most no more than a bare majority. (Wikipedia)

Where are we now?

Truly incredible. Doesn’t that qualify as some kind of abuse of office? I honestly don’t see how they can not only get away with this, but brag about it (to intimidate, of course).

I really don't think they want to go to court to decide what is true and what's not. Will they go after those making falsehoods about Gov Palin, too?

Well crap -- does this mean that big Bob McCollough is gonna send his goons to arrest me for my McPalin bumper sticker?

As soon as I get home I'm firing an email, or maybe I will call, and ask the St. Louis County Prosecutor whether they will be going after those lies spread about Sarah Palin as well. What a putz.

Goodbye first amendment. This is ad terrorum. They are trying to scare people into silence.

That's why we have the second. This is criminal.

I am not a lawyer, but I know from reading various stories on this type of lawsuit that a person holding or running for public office has a much more difficult time suing in civil court in this type of case.

As for criminal court, there is not law that applies.

If I am wrong, please post the law.

If you threaten a public official, if you create a public disturbance you can be arrested.

But not for what you say providing you say it in a place allowed by law; meaning that you are not crashing someone else’s party to do so.

Had I not actually watched the video, I would have dismissed its description as a kook alarmist post often seen out there on The Web. This is unbelievable.

I’ll have to try and see the video later, the site may be overloaded.

Trying to load it caused my IE to jam.

That translates as anything anyone says about the Messiah they don’t like will be deemed a lie. Nice, really nice. This is the crowd dem voters support. What a bunch.

This is, obviously, an attempt to intimidate, however, I didn't hear where they said they were going to prosecute anyone, just that they would be targeted, whatever that means.

Obama has big ears and an ugly bump on his face.
