I guess that would mean the soon to be ex-head of the LA chapter of NOW.

Beyond all party lines and demographics -- an Obama success would be very, very bad news for a vast majority of the population for many, many years.

Sarah Palin is uniting the country, not a party.

Hope she’s got an armored car, food tester, and all her affairs are in order just in case. I have no doubts she’ll be getting death threats.

I thought the Cubs possibly winning the World Series was a sign of the end of times.

This is a close second.

Is there something different in LA chapter of NOW compared to other chapters? Unlike other chapters, the former and current heads seem to use their brain!

The funniest thing is the woman runs NOW in one of the most liberal state of the union. The San Fran lot are going to go apoplectic.

They were the founders of NOW, weren’t they.

Herbert Philbrick wrote in his book “I Led Three Lives” about the female commie leaders he met as an FBI informant in the 1940’s.

They were “plain Janes” in his words, polite by today’s standards.

One of his footnotes said that the female communist leaders would call a man who didn’t follow their orders a “male chauvinist.”

Freepers have been asking why Governor Palin went to LA. This may be one big reason. It's news that will help her in all 50 states.

Yes, it may be. But, Los Angeles and San Francisco couldn’t be more different. There’s still some sanity remaining in Los Angeles.

Well, you needn't worry about that for at least another year.

If Sarah Palin is what a “real feminist” looks like...expect many more men to “embrace” the “movement”.

She’s going back to the roots of the feminist movement—before the Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas stuff turned them away from what they espoused, and then of course with Bill Clinton they totally sold their souls to the devil and became ultimate hypocrites.

You may be thinking of Tammy Bruce, and no, I do not believe this is Tammy Bruce. Tammy appears now on Fox semi-regularly. She’s not a flaming Democrat anymore. If I’m remembering correctly, she had an epiphany while head of CA NOW.

Yes - Tammy Bruce. I know the name well now but had forgotten about her past. Thanks.

Maybe it’s time that NOW changes from a group that straightjackets women into stereotypical roles as abortion loving victims of male repression to an image more in the mold of Sarah Palin. Boy, that would be refreshing.
