“But if it comes out that Wall Street was set up by Left Wing forces to tank the markets and Help Obama, there will be a Civil War.

If average people got their pensions screwed to help Obama there will be anarchy.”

Paulson is a Democrat, (thanks GWB). Soros is a currency trader of some skill. The market fails in October. I doubt that it’s coincidence. Many, (most?), of us would agree.

So, once Obama wins, what will you do? The MSM will ignore any evidence of market manipulation. It’s how socialists work. Welcome to Stalin’s view of a new Amerika.

MurryMom is FR’s token troll. She’s been here for years, and she’s kept around by the moderators as an example of the ignorance of the other side.

When will they realize that, when the MSM is honest about what he’s up to in the Whitehouse? Oh wait.

At some point in the very near future, civil war might be the only option.

McCain is better because he won’t support draconian increases in the income tax.

McCain won’t raise the capital gains tax.

McCain won’t increase the estate tax.

McCain won’t lift the ceiling regarding the S.S. tax, which is currently 14% for small business owners.....the “self-employment tax”

McCain will continue to fight the war on terror.

McCain won’t cancel “Star Wars.”

McCain won’t gut our military.

McCain won’t sit down with terrorists.

McCain won’t appoint ultra-lefties to federal judgeships.

And most of all, McCain has Sarah Palin to advise him, NOT Joe Biden, the third most liberal member of the Senate.

As a conservative, I wasn’t thrilled when McCain won the primaries, but he looks pretty damn good when compared to the Obamanation.

As for the bailout, if McCain had opposed it, can you imagine the screaming coming from the democrats everyday the stock market tanks? True, the market is tanking in spite of the passage of the bailout, but if the Republicans had succeeded in stopping the bailout, McCain’s polling numbers would be far worse than they (allegedly) are now.

Last time you got control of everything, it only took Billy 1.5 years to hand Republicans control for the next decade. Course, shows how brilliant you are that you forgot that. I have no doubt that whatever the House/Senate numbers end up, a President Obama would probably cause an even more thorough housecleaning in 1.5 years, if that long.

Today’s economic news isn’t helping us any.

Fox has had 2 news specials in the last two days. They ran over and over and over again in different time slots. One actually explains the financial meltdown, the democrat cause, and Obomas role in it with Acorn. The other was a history of radical Oboma, and was terrifying - with the word terror taken literally.
People will start talking about them at work and with friends. The truth will start to get out, and those numbers will go down. The verbal networking about the democrats role in the economy and Obomas pro-radical Muslim and pro-terrorism connections has to have time to work.
The word is starting to get out. It has to have time to move.
Hold on, folks. Be patient.

In an amazing display of affection for the Messiah Obama, 9,999% of the American people now intend to vote for him. Experts predict that by election day the Obama vote will be unanimous with more than ten billion Americans going to the polls to cast their precious votes for him.

We are in the midst of probably the worst campaign cycle for Republicans since 1974. The fact that McCain is this close is astounding.

IF we are screwed this year, the media will declare the end of the GOP. Remember they said the same thing about the Rats in 1994. IF we lose big, we can take time after the election to dissect things, learn some lessons and be prepared to work hard to earn the trust of the people.

This country will suffer alot under the Rats. But that would not be the time to freak out or leave the country. The Dems always overplay their hand and go too far. Remeber 1993 and Clinton's health care plan?

regardless of what happens in November, we need to be prepared to do the work necessary to secure our freedoms.

They NEED to come up with a strong economic countermessage for the debate. Simple as that.

Honestly identifying what caused this whole thing would be a start. It's time for some "strait talk" from McCain though I will not hold my breath.

I wonder if in political science classes someday, students will read under “Dumbest Political Strategies Ever”...

2008 Presidential Election, John McCain: Suspend your campaign (attack ads, rallies, and all) and make a big deal about it to garner attention, then go vote exactly the same as your opponent for an unpopular incumbent president’s plan that disgusts the vast majority of the country, thus turning your initial power play to look like a leader into the chance to look like an impotent follower. Proceed to ponder why, with an incredibly savvy and popular VP pick who’s energized the majority of your potential voters, your poll numbers go in the crapper.

Once communism takes a foot hold, it is almost impossible to eradicate. They stay in power through brute force, lies and favoritism.
