Momentum is very important in this point in time.
When someone asked our priest if there was a real devil, he said, " Why yes, and he is debating John McCain right now."
We all laughed, but after scripture study was over and I chatted with my priest about the video of the kids in fatigues chanting, "Alpha Omega" I realized my priest was only half joking.
It was October 18, the day we did the Illinois bus tour from Eureka all the way down to the arch in St.Louis. Struggling against what we thought a massive current, we awoke from our exhaustion the next morning to find our world had changed. We had given no thought about losing, but fought as if our lives depended on it. I can’t speak for others but sure didn’t consider his losing as an option.

Still reflecting, lots of parallels to this moment in history...
The media hated us and constantly tried to show our rallies as drawing small crowds. One press jerk took to blowing into his mike a duck call as Governor Reagan approached, so it would sound like jeering. I rode once with them on the press plane and it was like being with wild animals, not people. They were different from us humans, a sub creature gaggle all to itself. If I were asked to paint my imagination of how a demon would appear, these would be my models.
In retrospect it looked grim, but our faith was repaid. Perhaps it was Divine Intervention striking us and we had faith that the little wart with ears, Jimmuh, would be stubbed out. Likewise, today, perhaps the unexpected miracle of Sarah Palin will have the same effect against those commie vile slimy Obamunists who threaten our America.
Gallup went back to “Registered Voters” and not “Likely Voters.
They do this because RV always favors the Democrats by about 3 points.
Gallup has always had a Democrat agenda. They also use their polls as a way to manipulate the public mindset.
With economic chaos the voters want an adult in charge. Not some young punk. Plus racist will not trust a black in charge of an economy in chaos. They want a boring old white dude
I think what we’re seeing is any time there is bad news, it’s bad for McCain since he represents the party in power.
If the economy calms down to a generic worry, as opposed to outright panic, McCain can easily win this thing.
