If anybody needs to see what we’re talking about when we refer election season poll-troll posters, review cherryade’s posting history.
Hey, Rebel...
Doors open at 11am, so I’m guessing people will be lining up at least an hour earlier.
We usually pack our lunch and get on line well ahead of doors opening. From my experience they give out way more tickets than they have capacity, and people who come too close to rally time sometimes don’t get in. It just depends on the weather, I guess.

Rasmussen has Obama +5.

Yet only the Gallup Obama +11 poll is mention by the media, including FNC.
I did it in my New Hampshire town in about three days worth of part-time software development.
I ran the entire town's checklist against the property assessment database, searching for names of voters registered as prior owners of the property, as well as checking the whitepages.com listings and the US Postal Service address verification database.
The results were way far from perfect, but I found a total of 1,800 outdated or otherwise invalid registrations, about 10% of the entire checklist, including one fellow registered to vote at an address that corresponded to the wooded riverbank across from a shopping plaza in town.
I didn't have time to follow up to find out if any of the particularly fishy ones ever voted, though there is one that moved to Florida around 25 years ago, but made it through a couple of different voter registration purges which suggests that he cast a vote, because doing so eliminates the legal requirement to send a piece of mail to confirm the voter.
Well, it certainly was a MSM tactic, same stuff they are pulling now. I have no way of knowing how effective it was, but there were reports of people getting out of line and going home when it happened. I suppose that could be a sort of urban legend, but knowing people, I believe that some did just that.
Whether it was 5 or 5,000, those that did are deserving of heaps of derision.
As other posters have noted. Senator McCain and Governor Palin will be in Virginia Beach on Monday morning and Governor Palin will be in Richmond on Monday afternoon (I'll be there).
We're in a heck of a battle in Virginia. It doesn't help that Jim Gilmore is going to lose by at least 15 points. But Virginia has a history of splitting the ticket.
Mark Warner, Governor Hinky Eyebrow and The One have been battling for Virginia, emboldened by their wins in 2005 and 2006. But all is not lost...yet.
On Election Day in 2004 I was on here for two hours after the polls closed screaming about the "exit polling" that showed John Kerry "winning" by 5-10 pts. The Bush win was somewhere in the 8 pt. range.
This week the momentum is very slowly turning back to Senator McCain. If you heard any of the Wisconsin Rally today (Rush was playing clips) you know that not only is Governor Palin fired up, but Senator McCain was naming names and kicking butt.
Give us three more weeks of that, and we can still pull this off. But we can't give up.
There are lots of voters who are not informed or are tired of the same old faces. They are simply not aware and not scared of the consequences of voting for the wrong person.
The majority will decide the outcome and maybe many in the majority are brainwashed by the left wing circus.
This is something I have been trying to figure out for a while now; how and from where, if at all, can we get accurate information? I am in CT at Quinnipiac U., you know, the place that keeps polling Obama way ahead of McCain practically everywhere. And even here, I have noticed the last few weeks I see McCain yard signs but no Obamas and about the same amount of Obama and McCain bumper stickers with the McCain number surprisingly increasing if I had to guess.... so if this is happening in ultra-blue new england, what is happening in the rest of the country?
Richmond alone isn’t going to cut it. He needs to go to Roanoke, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Fredricksburg, Norfolk, and Wytheville as well.
It had the same effect in California and it isn’t urban legend.
I have a very good friend there who was in a fairly long line to vote when someone came and announced that Florida had cinched it for Gore and it was all over. When someone else with a radio confirmed it, my friend left w/o voting and he said that quite a few others left the line also...
They're all voting absentee. They're absent from the whole dang planet, because they're ghost voters, but rest assured they're going to vote.
My family and I will also be in Richmond. The Victory Center said wear red....a red state reference.
They were here last week.
Everyone who believes in polls is daft or is soon go’na be.
Look for encouragement folks.
Don’t tread down in the gutter with all the negative talk...
One reason why...

I am pumped and excited for our country!
The msm and polls are being used as propaganda.
DON’T believe them...........they are lying!
McCain/Palin 2008
God bless America!!!
Thanks for the link!
Boy Howdy. I am praying for snow , rain and earthquakes on Nov. 4. I want only the really patriotic vote to turn out. Perhaps Global Warming will keep the homeless, felons and traitors from voting that day!
Yep. I’ve got my tickets for the Baracuda rally in Richmond.
Watching H&C and Colmes and Beckel just accused John Fund of crying fraud to set up for when “his” candidate fails!
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!!!! Amazing!
They absolutely should not have called FL before the polls closed! Some anecdotes say this happened because people could have been driving to the polls and became despondent when they heard. I would hope that they would still go and vote for the other races on the ticket, but whatever.
Florida contains two time zones and the Panhandle is very conservative. I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t by design....
