You can lead a man to a 2004 San Patrignano Colli di Rimini Cabernet Montepirolo, but you can’t make him put down that Thunderbird.

It wasn’t the music, Vactor said, he just needed to be at practice with the rest of the Urbana University basketball team.

“I didn’t have the time to deal with that,” he said. “I just decided to pay the fine.”

A Judge can't do that. It would be a violation of the Eighth Amendment.

this is neither cruel nor unusual. it was an offer of leniency. the perp was not required to accept the offer.

I wouldn’t last 5 minutes listening to Pat Boone, may he rest in peace.

I wonder how the judge would know whether or not he listened to the classical music. It sound likes he had to sit with a probation officer at the court while listening to it, so maybe he just couldn’t afford to spend 20 hours at the court building.

Kenny G and Michael Bolton were going to team up and call the group Guns-N-Noses.

Unfortunately he is still with us (according to Wikipedia).

I would sentence him to a week of listening to “One Tin Soldier” (Theme from Billy Jack) by Coven.
