And Icelandic folks on this thread? I’ve been searching high and low on the internet for a supposed cabbage soup. It is supposed to be great for raising testosterone levels for athletes.

More people live in Staten Island than live in Iceland.

As countries go, it is miniscule.

For comparison - Lehman Brothers had a market cap three times the size of Iceland's GDP.

Vallejo, CA - the town that went bankrupt - has a population about half of Iceland's/

How can that be? [sarc]. Iceland is nearly energy independent, getting over 70% of its energy from renewable sources like hydroelectric and geothermal. It ranks 63rd in the world in terms of carbon emissions per capita.

And to think, Palin ran a state that is about 10x+ the size of Iceland and twice the population and they think she is unqualified?

I think I read that every man woman and child in Iceland owes about $115,000 in government debt. England has lost a lot of “government money” (i.e., their own government’s money) because Iceland has refused to let various governmental organization (in England) get their money out of Iceland’s bank, thereby defaulting. It’s apparently a big deal, and so England used some terrorism law to freeze all Iceland’s assets in England.

It’s getting interesting around the world....
