I heard the looniest of loony sites, Kos, printed Joe’s home address. Can Joe sue them? He is a private citizen and as such entitled to ask questions of politicians, right, right?
It was Obummer’s answer that threw the excrement at the fan, not the question. The One wasn’t even smart enough to realize how outrageous normal people would find his spread the wealth policy.
Too late for character assassination of the messenger to distract the masses, we already heard it straight from bambi’s mouth and all we see now is what happens to the average guy who dares to think he has a right to ask a question of an anointed elite.
Just keep digging idiots. All it looks like now is vindictiveness.
Does that mean that ANYONE performing plumbing work in Toledo must have a license? How to apprentices and helpers get started? Are they ALL licensed plumbers?
Trust me, plenty of plumbers (company owners) earn $250K around here in Los Angeles. As they grow their businesses they have to move to larger homes with much property and room for all the trucks as it’s illegal to park the trucks on city streets in L.A. over night.
I’ve known several plumbers who fall into this category — very successful indeed.
Even better.
Maybe he can't afford to pay them thanks to too many other socialist/democrat/RINO programs.
I guess the message here is that Joe should join a union, vote Democrat, quit asking questions, and limit his dreaming to buying a lottery ticket on his way home from work.
Joe’s status to practice plumbing in Toledo is all but settled, I wonder when the Jurassic Times will get around to finding an original B. Hussein Obama certificate of live birth. Hmmm, on second thought, will the antichrist be born?
A good example of why not everyone needs to get a college degree.
Plumbers are charging $90 to $120 an hour.
Easy math. 10 men x $120 x 2000 hours a year = $2,400,000 gross.
Of course with maybe 8 trucks and 8 complete sets of tools, the inventory most have on the truck, the net is substantially less.
But I know a couple of plumbing contractors that live in really nice digs. One is my neighbor. I expect his house is 4,000 sq. ft. Wife drives the latest Mercedes. SUV family car top of the line, new. Beach house 4 hours east.
Trucks have those big expensive walk in bodies.
Not a bad life.
Gee, government actually regulating something...of course, not the millions made by the shenanigans of Frannie Mae and Freddie Mac but by g-men going after the little guy. Welcome to the new Thugocracy....
Siphoning campaign money to family members must be patriotic too.
Just ask Joe the rambler....

Is that what Allahpunditism means lately?
HotAir needs to understand that Joe the plumber is a symbol of the aspiring American small businessman. If they trash him as an individual there will be millions who can step into his space.
My point is that business owners and plumbers are two different things, do you know a plumber that earns a quarter million dollars a year?
The Italian restaurant down the street may gross a million dollars a year, but the cook doesn’t.
This company would be doing good if it did 10% profit...or 240K.
But I guess this would make them rich huh?
Yeah, but if 'everyone' wants to go to college, for whatever reason, 0bama expects you and me to pay for it. Ain't life going to be grand for the 'looters' under Dear Leader Comrade 0bama?
If there is any good news it is that the media has further exposed their bias. Joe’s no longer a plumber, they’ve made him a martyr.
“The laws the law and it is, after all, his own fault for not having the papers he needs”
I would like to see the same standard applied to the Obama citizenship issue.
