The newspaper stuff doesn't mean anything,IMO.The State of Hawaii needs to be instructed by some Federal court to release his birth certificate.Even if that happens and the state either refuses (thus creating the possibility of a long fight in the Federal courts) or they announce they can't find one he can just claim “I was born at home” or something like that.

Putting Palin or McCain on the attack just sets them up for quid pro quo. And frankly, I’m sick of the back and forth. Gets no where.

Also note that the state of Hawaii allows ‘any adult’ to register the birth of one of it’s resident’s born out of state or out of country.

Also note newspapers in multiple cities or countries can announce the birth of a child born in New York, Chicago, or any location.

The clipping, if it is not another false reproduction, gives no location or other information about the birth.

Who knows how many other candidates have “problems”. A major flaw in the election process has been discovered.

And that is far more important than any single election. Electing a man who may be ineligible creates a real threat in the future. Imagine, George Soros deciding he wants to run for President of the USA and challenges the rules in the supreme court. If Obama were found ineligible, Soros or anyone else could cite this election as precedent.

Also worth noting is a birth announcement in the Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961, Honolulu Advertiser listing Obama's birth there on Aug. 4.

Of course, it is possible that Obama's family, knowing he would seek the presidency one day, planted a false announcement.

But WHY, in 1961, would anyone want to fool anyone? That’s a big conspiracy jump.

It's just a birth announcement. There's nothing in it that even hints that he was born in Hawaii. All it means is that he was born to someone with family connections in Hawaii, which we already knew.

That being said, I've never thought that there was a shred of evidence that he was born in Kenya. Third-hand rumors and wishful thinking just don't do the job.

But which hospital? It's been reported that he was born in both Queens Hospital and in Kapiolani Hospital. It's in the Berg motion which can be found here.

I don’t understand, of course, I’m no lawyer either, but I’ve never heard of a lawyer writing a Judge’s order for the Judge to sign. Doesn’t the Judge write the order himself?

In 1961, the Dunhams would have been intelligent enough to want their only grandchild to have US citizenship and the opportunites of all the benefits. Hawaii makes it very simple & easy to register out of state birth’s for any resident who resided there for a 12 month period.

You rent an apt. in Hawaii for a year, have a baby in Paris and any adult that you know in Hawaii could submit paperwork to have the Hawaiin Dept. of Health create a Hawaiin COLB for the tot.

Is there verification that the ‘clipping’ exist on microfiche?
Others here have reproduced the ‘clipping’ perfectly with names like ‘Harvey’ and it is impossible to tell which is real.
