This is a great letter to Obama written by a guy who worked his way up from the bottom. I seriously doubt Obama or any other entitlement-driven Dem would take the time to read it and appreciate what the author has to say.

Please read this over; could you post it on your website?

Cheers!

A man owned a small farm in Virginia. The Virginia State Wage & Hour Department claimed he was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to interview him. ‘I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them,’ demanded the agent.

‘Well,’ replied the farmer, ‘there's my farm hand who's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $200 a week plus free room and board. The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $150 per week plus free room and board. Then there's the half-wit who works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night. He also sleeps with my wife occasionally.’

‘That's the guy I want to talk to -— the half-wit,’ says the agent.

‘That would be me,’ replied the farmer.

No matter WHO is in the White House, but especially when it’s under Rat control, neither Husband or I will EVER hire anyone to work for us.

Why bother? Even with the advantages a small business brings to us, why would be share the wealth even more with Government?

And if Obama thinks I’m going to work harder for HIM to reach that $250K threshold so he can screw me over even more, he doesn’t know me very well, LOL!

Not gonna happen. Not on our watch.

" ... I seriously doubt Obama or any other entitlement-driven Dem would take the time to read it and appreciate what the author has to say ..."

Now why would you think that?

I'm certain one of the 0bamiacs will take it directly to his worship and read it to his highness.

As soon as it is explained to his holiness, the exalted one will immediately become a capitalist, shedding all his marxist communist ways and become a freedom loving conservative.

Cory the Well-Driller is a bitter clinger-bitterly clinging to the American way of life.

Just wonderful! Mr. Miller makes more sense than most of what has been going on in this campaign. Obama is looking to crush businessmen like Mr. Miller, through taxes and intervention.

Left to his own abilities, Mr. Miller built the American Dream. What a beautiful story!

Great letter:
Sure would have been nice to have Pres Bush read this item this morning instead of his usual Sat message.
Maybe McCain could read it with his weekly message?

THANK you for posting this letter.

He reminds me of a fellow from Columbia who spoke up at a McCain rally this week who listed the many reasons why he came here, what it means to live and work in a free country.

He ended by saying, I was born in Columbia, but made in the USA.

We need men like Mr. Miller more than we ever have, they offer a glimpse into ourselves. What happened to us that pop culture stars are now more worthy of attention than men like Mr. Miller?

Dear Mr. Miller:

Please contact me via freep-mail if you need a source of capital to start Business #5 in the next couple of months.

I'm convinced that a gun shop is a great business opportunity for you, and I'd love to help get it off the ground.

Sincerely,

Alberta's Child

Men like this are my heros.

Mr RB is a man like this.He started with NOTHING !!!! Watching him gut it out over the years; and seeing the government take, take, take, the results of his labor, is what turned me into a government hater.

How F***ing dare they !

When people like Mr. Miller are allowed to follow their dream, they bring up ordinary Americans willing to do the work with them.

Mr father is another example of this. He started in the 60's with aa old bulldozer & no employees and now his company employs 60+ people and grosses over 15,000,000 per year.

He is 73, has Parkinson's, and can still be found each day, not in our office, but out in the heat or cold, running a bulldozer.
