Here’s the real question:

are you knowingly or unwittingly undermining McCain’s effort to save us from a Marxist?

I prefer to think McCain will pull it out, but if he doesn't, re-energize, regroup, gather our energy and resources. Watch the opposition carefully; sooner or later, they'll go too far and make a mistake. They can't help it. Their character is such that they do not know limits - abortion and same sex marriage are proof of that. When they do, strike hard. Make a stand. And more importantly, remember who deserted the McCain ticket. Marines have a motto, “Payback is a Mother*****.” One hates to be ruthless, but we on the Right must remember who we're dealing with: unscrupulous people who do not respect the truth, who crave power, and will destroy this country if they get the chance.
If Barry wins, the war has just started. Do not loose hope.

There won’t be a second chance. One party rule will be final and voters won’t be able to overturn it with ACORN types controlling the outcomes. Voter intimidation will be replaced by candidate intimidation. You oppose, and you and your family will be ruined...or worse.

Obama/Pelosi/Reid will undoubtedly over-reach, and (I hope) set back the Democrats for decades.....a severe spanking in the mid-terms and a guaranteed one-termer.

Now thats the rub...trust in the process. Well I will predict this, if if Obama wins, with all his henchmen in place Acorn etc...you will see an election 2012 but never see a conservative president in the oval again and you can take that to the bank. I am convinced of this.

Exactly, this speculation is nonsense.

There are 8 days to go, we have other battles to fight first, and this plays into the Axelrod narrative.

Wise up folks.

Your assuming that by 2010 we’d be playing by the same rules. I wouldn’t make that assumption.

Analysts and some party activists say losing the White House will highlight the pitfalls of relying too heavily on a narrow foundation of conservative Christians whose support has nonetheless become crucial to Republican electoral success.

This is the disconnect liberals (including the writer) have with reality. When you say you are Republican or conservative, what it means to them is that you are a fundamentalist Christian.

Carter led to Reagan and Dinkens led to Giuliani so things will shift back, but we're still paying for the damage that Carter did so it's America that's going to suffer.

"...Or perhaps the time has come to close the door on the Republican Party and start a new Conservative Party where the Principles of Conservatism espoused by Buckley, Goldwater, and Reagan can guide us. Liberals, RINO’s and Moderate Centrists can please go somewhere else."

I hold little hope for the Republican party returning to its core principles. I hold little hope for the Libertarian party getting off the ground in the foreseeable future. When McPalin wins in November, the hope I have is for a Palin/Thompson or equally conservative ticket in 2012. McCain couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't run for re-election and Sarah Palin is our true hope for a new start to a new conservative party in 2012.

Shed the liberal images of Bush, the negative images of the immigration albatross around our necks, etc. Start fresh, on principles. That is something that the GOP abandoned long ago.

The most obvious result regardless of who wins will be a centrist party composed of PUMA Democrats and RINOs. Most likely a platform of abortions in the 1st trimester/mother's health, limited 2nd Amendment, some social programs and a private retirement plan option.

You forget what strong willed people there are in this country. It took a while but we eventually got off our a$$es and kicked out the Brits, slapped down our own rebellion, and taught Hirihito and Hitler the meaning of the word respect. We rose up in many other occasions and those on the wrong side of our wrath lived or died in regret their actions. Yes, I know it will take a lot but Im confident that Americans are the most free people on earth not because of our laws and government. We are free because there is only so much $hit we will take from anyone.

That’s exactly what the Democrats want - divide conservatives between two or more parties. Can’t you see that?
