I think the point is that Barack thinks Rev Wright is “the best” of what the black church has to offer, when he really is among the worst.

For what it’s worth, I have attended many black church services (my sister-in-law is black). While the church was obviously Dem leaning, they weren’t anything like Rev Wright’s church.
In a stammering, non-answer sort of way, he just advocated black liberation theology, while at the same time, disavowed traditional Christianity.
My husband and 3 sons are black... if they went to that church, I would be scared for my life!

Now that we know that Obama's closest associates are Marxists, and that his self-described "spiritual mentor" is a disciple of Liberation Theology, the meaning of these words becomes crystal clear.
I wish someone would take that video above of Obama and add the Wright video right to it into one video! That would really add the Wright comments following Obama’s statement that “Reverend Wright represents the best of what The Black Church has to offer.” Please, someone do that if you can!!

Agreed. I felt as much love at the church I attended as I feel at my own church. I did not ever feel out of place. Wonderful church.
