The Democrats for McCain had bumperstrips in Norman before we had McCain bumperstrips. It was amazing to watch. We have yards with Democrat signs for OK candidates and then a McCain-Palin sign — see it time and time again this year. Have never seen that before.

The left is the enemy, along with the media, roses of sharon. Now, do you believe your tagline applies to this enemy, or some other enemy?

Myself, I vote for #3.

You obviously haven't studied many of the threads on the blatant polling bias around here lately.

Nor, does it appear that you've looked around the conservative blogosphere for informative articles on the 2008 polling, either (there are a ton of them out there).

My (more informed) choice is for:

1) All the pollsters are in the tank for Obama and skewing their results.

Good luck with that. I guess we’ll know whether you or I are correct on Wednesday morning.

That comment is too obtuse for me. I don’t follow you.

All the pollsters (collectively) are approximately correct.

If the pollsters are correct and there are suddenly 9%+ more Democrats than two years ago and the undecided and the 80% that hang up when they try to poll them are not a factor, then we are indeed hosed. However, even the pollsters are starting to sing a different tune now that their reputation will be hosed as well if they don't present a more accurate picture just before the election. This day in 2004 had Kerry up about as much and in many of the same states. I'm so glad that President Kerry is not running this time.

I think both were intentional (the audience behind him gets the joke in both videos). I think he hesitates in both because he is deciding whether to go ahead. Big Media always covers for him; they always have a lame excuse. He gives himself cover both times. In the ‘finger’ video he (inappropriately) first touches his little finger to his lips. In the ‘pig’ video he brings up McCain (out of context) and enables himself to silence his critics by using a ‘lipstick on a pig’ comment from McCain from the Senate floor. 0bama is smug. I don't think he's smooth at all, just another Dem narcissist who thinks he's above social constraints. Remind you of anyone else?

“...We have yards with Democrat signs for OK candidates and then a McCain-Palin sign ....”

Yep. Seen that too. Strange election. I think Obama will be lucky to get 80% of the (D) vote this time around. Also, we have three houses in our neighborhood with BOTH signs on the lawn. Bit of a strain on the marriage, I assume!

Duh...

Just what purpose do you think you're serving by throwing your negative viewpoint into air?

You trying to "help" us face reality, or something? Don't bother, unless you know for certain that John McCain is going to lose the election.

Otherwise, keep your moping to yourself.

"How can we defeat them...when we will not face what they are?????"

Who is “we”. People are starting to get it, even the younger people.

If you need a pick me up...listen to this guy. It's great and kind of funny.

Unfortunately it takes 2 years. When Clintoon had the trifecta, of course he blew it immediately. Then came Newt and the Contract for America that saved us, but unfortunately saved Clinton also.

Then came Bush and we had the trifecta. The saintly Repubs decided to be honorable and observe the promised term limits and we got a new batch. It didn't take long to forget what Repub stood for and Bush just wanted to fight the wars. Whatever they wanted was fine with him. If he had just vetoed a couple of bills, it would have looked a little bit balanced anyway. Then the inevitable whoopin had to come and they laid it on hard. Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, et al.

Well now they will really teach us a lesson,.....for about 2 years. They will tank the economy, raise taxes on the middle class, destroy the military, well, you know the rest. The question is only how bad and how deep? Can we even survive as a country.

There is a possibility it will be so bad so fast with his arrogance that he gets impeached the first year.Their only limits are their imaginations. They are dusting off their gun control, religion control, slave reparations, etc. It's going to be fast and furious. I think the big question will be violence. Will it be like the '60's? Probably. Will I have any retirement left when they finish? Will there even be anybody that remembers America? I feel like we have already been whipped into Sweden or some other non country. I think the rest of the world will even see that America was the only reason they still existed.

How is it Christians would vote for an abortionist? Hunters a antigunner? Business owners a tax hiker? Patriots a flag hater? We should have a majority of several groups, but yet here we are. In Pennsylvania, they called them racist, redneck, stupid, clinging to guns and religion, and even Murtha will most likely be re elected. That is supernatural.

I think the wrath of God is coming. How else can you explain a rookie that says nothing, knows nothing, and has never done ANYTHING, can make people faint with a word. Spooky!

Can you imagine in this election there being a split in the household? I have to admit I couldn’t handle the split if a spouse was supporting Obama. Would never work with me.

Yes. Would have been better if they had figured that out before tying the knot! Tip of the iceberg, I’d say...!

In my little town in Missouri, the Democratic Headquarters has signs of all the local candidates, but no sign of Obama out front. :)

Supporting Obama means you want my children locked into a social class. You want them to not have the opportunities that I did to start a business, become successful, and build wealth to pass on to another generation.

That’s grounds for divorce, as far as I’m concerned. I couldn’t handle it either. And my wife WAS a pretty committed Dem, but she was on the Nobama train before I even realized what he was.

Around here I notice many yards with Dem signs but the Obama sign is conspicuous by it’s absence.

Yes, of course, the polls were correct last time..

Er, well they were right the time before that..

Umm, well, we should trust them this time anyway.
